Crazy. Any source for this? I always had a negative view of Maclom X and a positive view of MLK.
https://www.nytimes.com/1991/10/11/us/boston-u-panel-finds-plagiarism-by-dr-king.html - New york times article on plagiarism.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-yI7QF5BHg - listen to archibald carey's speech and compare it to mlk's.
https://outline.com/qUPc6m - a Salon article on the MLK holiday and constant attempts to pass it over the decades until it finally went through. I was mistaken on the only one voted against it part - that should have been only one southern state voted against it (ie - places with large black populations at the time and political suicide to vote against it, despite that, the one man who voted against it was in fact re-elected).
https://www.npr.org/2009/03/15/101719889/before-rosa-parks-there-was-claudette-colvin - 9 months before Rosa Parks, Claudette Colvin did same thing. There are others that did similar things.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Levison - Stanley Levison, major financial coordinator of the American Communist Party.
You can find more if you look. Most people that ask for source rarely read them and its just a way to divert conversation and create endless 'source for that? oh no source, too bad' or 'oh, thats not an approved source, so doesnt count' type slide responses. I tried to include as many "approved" sources for you here though. You can find more yourself if you search into his history.
