A Great King is the ideal form of governance and it lasts for your whole life.
However, a shit King is the worst form of governance imaginable and that also last for your entire life.
Just look at Charles II of Spain if you want an example of how bad it can get. He was an important King who was incredibly deformed, incredible weak-of-mind and completely uneducated.
The only real lesson of history is that 99% of the time the people lived under shockingly incompetent government.
