It’s not gonna happen here either. If they announced a permanent lockdown in Canada Toronto would burn to the ground. The promise of this ending is all that is keeping people from going postal. Most people are sick of this shit

Remember, most Quebeckers still supported French Absolutism well into the 19th century.

Dude, if that happened Ulster unionists would fucking join the republic. So basically hell would freeze over

Yea if there was a “permanent lockdown” after Johnson said he would end the restrictions, emergency etc, there would be an English civil war of scale not seen since the17th century

We shouldn’t forget either that at the last peak, the Eastern Europeans were outright discriminated against by the native British and French Canadians.

And that was a good thing because it encouraged one very similar culture (Eastern Euro Orthodox) to integrate into the new dominant British/Irish/Western Euro type culture.

But what happens when you take someone from a place that isn’t even Christian? What happens when you invite people who mutilate their daughters? Well, you get honour killings in Toronto, a former WASP stronghold.

That’s my monarch, the descendant of those my ancestors called their Kings and Queens. This is no game. This is a war on the people of Britain and Ireland now.

Well yes, the native population is told that having kids is bad for the environment. Yet that guy and his wife who just moved here from Yemen are encouraged to have even more.

And that’s my line man. If it comes to a Cromwellian situation, well put it this way, the Red Hand of Ulster will be striking back

Hell in the mid sixties you could get a caddy with a mini bar in the glove box. We’ve become very prudish with drink

I’m getting tired of people lambasting the man’s drinking (as some tard in the comments is doing). Look he was a Scot living in the 1800s. My own grandfather was drunk half his life and he was born in the 30s. If a Scot/Irishman doesn’t have whisk(e)y flowing each day I’d start to question whether he was even a man.

Really depends on the family. From what I understand there were more Irish converts to the COI than to Presbyterianism. So I’d say that Irish Anglicans probably have more Irish in them if I had to guess.

In the end no one can really tell these days. People have been moving from Ulster to Scotland and back again for generations so the genetic signature is basically the same (Ulster dialects of Irish also have more in common with Scottish Gaelic and Manx).

I know he definitely meant Fenians though haha I was just taking the piss.

But my nan is also like half Fenian so I wouldn’t get to exist regardless hahaha.

Fenian or Orange Irish?

Really though, good to know I’m here because Douglas didn’t go on an Irish sterilization spree.
