The late spring and summer, early fall things were more normal in Europe than here. That is what the poster you are bickering with is trying to say I believe.
Yeah and I'm bickering is that even during their lockdowns which were harsher than ours to some extent, they never had this jump in unemployment numbers like Canada or the US.
Are you in Saskatchewan?
Yeah. Don't know and don't particular care how it's in Ontario and Quebec. Our unemployment rate is almost down to pre Covid levels. So, it seems like we're the province which got hard the least when I take a look at Alberta or Ontario as comparison. When it comes to restrictions and so in Saskatchewan ... I live in a small town near Saskatoon and no one really cares about Covid anymore. We had three cases in my town back in spring, that's it. It's another story in the bigger cities. Go shopping in Saskatoon and you will have to wear a mask until you leave the city.
If the place that produces most of the GDP gets turned into a zombie land our unemployment numbers will reflect that DESPITE the situation in Saskatchewan.
Same can be said about the UK and their shutdown. They shutdown almost the whole country and somehow their unemployment numbers didn't jump. I'm just asking how our shutdown lead to higher unemployment numbers, but their shutdown didn't?
Are you hungover? Because you are acting like a dickhead.
Dude, nowhere did I act like a dick in this conversation. Just because two people have issues in communicating and getting their point over to the other person, doesn't mean one of them is a dick (or both).
