And don't forget that in addition to the 300,000 immigrants, we take about 500,000 "temporary" foreign workers and foreign students, only they're not so temporary because they're all given a path to permanent residency. Quebec recently took a step in the right direction when they stopped giving permanent residency to foreign students. We should all do the same.
If the statues aren't appreciated in Toronto and Montreal, they should be moved to small towns in rural Ontario. They'll be safe and in good hands there.

Most people are politically and culturally on the left. Crime is up big-time. It's a "minority majority" city since 2017. Housing prices are through the roof. Traffic is horrendous.
It used to be a fine city, but that was a long time ago.
