I remember when I was pretty young and after watching the Austin Power's Goldmember gag where Dr. Evil gets hit in the nuts with a globe and then counts to make sure they're all there ("1... 2... 3 okay I'm okay") I thought something was wrong with me since I only had 2.

Why the fuck would you listen to a child on something like this.

Yeah pretty sure they're all brainwashed from having covid propaganda all over TV, online, and in-person.

I can't believe how leftists can believe in systemic racism against black people when I can literally look at my UNIVERSITY EMAIL INBOX and see jobs, scholarships, workshops (leading to jobs) all explicitly discriminating against white males. Watching MAINSTREAM CABLE TELEVISION, I get advertisements for a site literally called hirebipoc.ca, a website explicitly discriminating in favour of black people. Nearly every bit of media I see nowadays is inundated with pro-black, pro-indigenous, pro-women propaganda. Pretty much everyone agrees that racism (against black people) is bad, and yet this isn't enough.

I think hearing my parents and relatives talk about politics ruined my faith in democracy. BC election is coming up, and when I asked my mom who she's going to vote for, she just said she doesn't like the current Liberal MP (Liberals are the "right" of BC, NDP is the "left") because he looks too "smart". Literally no substantiation beyond that, similar from my dad and grandma. Also they smugly remark about hating Trump constantly even though Trump has basically no impact on us. I'm pretty sure people have been brainwashed by the media.

Literally same. Hell, I might have already had it since I had a pretty bad flu after a flight in January. Crazy how you can't even be sure if you caught this super scary pandemic, hey?

"I trained to be a bank robber and then they made robbery illegal, what gives?"

As usual for leftists, every problem needs to be solved by someone other than themselves.

These people act like the system is against them when major media corporations are mandating black representation, unversities hand out money in the form of scholarships for being black, companies have black-only positions, pretty much every major corporation is in line with BLM messaging, and the government supports all of this.

I've been quoting Ted a lot lately, but again:

Generally speaking, the goals of today’s leftists are NOT in conflict with the accepted morality. On the contrary, the left takes an accepted moral principle, adopts it as its own, and then accuses mainstream society of violating that principle. Examples: racial equality, equality of the sexes, helping poor people, peace as opposed to war, nonviolence generally, freedom of expression, kindness to animals. More fundamentally, the duty of the individual to serve society and the duty of society to take care of the individual. All these have been deeply rooted values of our society (or at least of its middle and upper classes [4] for a long time. These values are explicitly or implicitly expressed or presupposed in most of the material presented to us by the mainstream communications media and the educational system. Leftists, especially those of the oversocialized type, usually do not rebel against these principles but justify their hostility to society by claiming (with some degree of truth) that society is not living up to these principles.

Westerners are afraid of death.

To quote Ted Kaczynski:

Many modern people, on the other hand, are disturbed by the prospect of physical deterioration and death, as is shown by the amount of effort they expend trying to maintain their physical condition, appearance and health. We argue that this is due to unfulfillment resulting from the fact that they have never put their physical powers to any practical use, have never gone through the power process using their bodies in a serious way. It is not the primitive man, who has used his body daily for practical purposes, who fears the deterioration of age, but the modern man, who has never had a practical use for his body beyond walking from his car to his house. It is the man whose need for the power process has been satisfied during his life who is best prepared to accept the end of that life.

With regards to bonding, I wonder about the effect of modern parenting conveniences/distractions as well. Some of my cousin's children are placed in front of a screen whenever people are over, I recall visiting them and the kid was basically entranced by Paw Patrol on the TV. Similar with video games or tablets at a young age. Additionally, there are sort of automatic toys, the toys that have batteries and speakers and say cutesy phrases to your child to entertain them when they are young. Toys which don't require creative input, and also don't facilitate social bonds. The child learns to associate with the toy and not with people, in the phase of their life when they are maximally receptive to learning language and behavioural norms by interacting with real live people. People around me seem to see a child mesmerized by a singing mechanical light apparatus as cute or fun - I see it as the child adapting to a world of cruel inanimate machines and not adapting to people through normal play and interaction.

But now the wife can pursue her career of being an HR consultant and enforcing policies that discriminate against straight white men, isn't it great?

“Children are dying because they are living in a nightmarish cycle of gaslighting and harassment, being told to behave in the face of someone else’s violence when they are not being protected by our institutions.”

Are you fucking kidding me. These people need to calm down, it was a comment about candy.

Cop: So that's your couch

Store: Yes

C: and it's at this person's house/tent/whatever

S: Yes

C: and you have video of the person walking down the street carrying it

S: Yes

C: and eye witnesses who saw them take it

S: Yes

C: Well, it's a mystery to me

I'm becoming more and more of a libertarian the more I think about taxation, and I think Bernier's right on the money. It's literally exacting tribute, using the police/jail/repossession of property, at the behest of a group of voters who benefit from it.

They seem to almost relish not having those freedoms. When a video of someone trying to assert their freedom of speech in Canada is posted on reddit there's no shortage of people who don't just correct them but laugh at them for believing that. They mock and deride them as if they are stupid for thinking that we should have freedom of speech.
