Fake vaxx numbers and possibly a lot of placebo jabs. Sweden has entered the flu season so people should start to drop off like flies by now, but so far nothing. Fake news media runs their usual fear mongering but otherwise life goes on as usual.

That time seems to be past by now. USA used to be the world police and now everyone is laughing at the cucked military full of trannies. It would have to be Russia or China then. But Russia has no interest, they even hold bitcoin on their own. And China would only attack economically if they see financial gain.

Deportation and revert the definition to what it used to be. Worlds first feminist government expanded the definition of rape to include sexual harassment and that sort of stuff too. That said, some women still get what they call "surprise sex" by being dragged into a bush or a parking garage and actually raped there. That's a problem, it doesn't happen a lot but it should never happen. Deportation should solve this.

Which would make it optimal for a mining business, if high electricity usage wasn't banned. Their choice, and their loss.

All I'm saying is that massive centralized mining businesses are hurting the decentralization of the blockchain. Hence, such ban ain't necessary bad for crypto as concept.

Besides, if you wanted to build a massive mining business, because apparently $200k per year in individual mining ain't enough, you wouldn't build it in Canada anyway, you'd build it anywhere the electricity is cheap, preferably in a cold place where cooling is cheap as well.

Doubt, Quebec is a cold place. I could run at least 10 rigs with the same power consumed by a electric boiler, all within "normal" consumption for a home. And for the summer you'd simply claim that you run the AC, in reality you sweat like a pig while taking a bath in your cold pool during the few hot days of the summer.

All while making $200k per year on average, which is acceptable profit and a fully livable wage for a $30k investment.

I wouldn't call volcanoes and earthquakes "a slow and steady process" tho, not compared to a western coal power plant or a combustion car. Also Quebec would have a hard time enforcing that as it's impossible to tell what the power is actually used for.

Such ban could even be a good thing as people would mine in small scale as mining was intended to be, rather than in big mining warehouses.

Which would come up and burn sooner or later anyway by natural cause, unfiltered.

It's for the best to dig it up and burn it using proper filtration and spread the emission.

If it get's too expensive, the miners will move anyway. And let's not forget, mining isn't linear like a central bank. You could in theory do all the mining (verification) on just one computer. But with $3M per hour to be made and anyone can take a part of that cake, people won't just sit back "for the environment" and watch someone else taking all of it.
