They filed criminal complaints against their Governors (i.e. Texas), and had it brought before the Grand Jury.

The Governor didn't want to be indicted, so they dropped the mask and other mandates.

The States with Mask Mandates vs No-Mask Mandates have the same COVID outcomes (cases, deaths).

I feel sorry for your mother if you still believe this...

Oh, I don't care "Are you actively discriminating against me? Are you confessing to committing crimes against me?

It's in our store policy for people to wear a mask. "Am I a store employee? Why do I have to follow your policy? Isn't that for you as an employee to follow? Can you produce a signed contract where I relinquished my rights to your policy? Does your store policy supersede the Federal Canadian Bill of Rights and Charter of Rights and Freedoms?"

If they threaten to call the police and cite you for trespass, and you are able to be calm and Hold Your Position. Call 911 first, tell them there is a man/woman who is:

  1. Get their name and badge number
  2. Tell them you called them, you are the victim. Tell them you are informed them of crimes being committed against you (harassment, assault, false imprisonment), and you need them to arrest the man/woman who is committing crimes against you.
  3. If they try to give you trouble, ask: "I called you because crimes are being committed against me. I am the victim here. Are you actively intimidating a witness and victim? I feel threatened by you. Are you intimidating a witness?"

"Not wearing a mask is not a crime."

And only the OWNER of the property can claim trespass against you. The police cannot, nor can an employee or manager. They expose themselves to Tort Law and personal liability if they take actions as such (as long as you are not committing crimes).

A police officer only has the right to interact with you if:

  1. They have a signed warrant for your arrest from a judge (bonded)
  2. They have Probable Cause (they witnessed you commit a crime, against a man/woman/property) In all cases, do not talk to police (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xYp7eE). They are not your friends. Exercise your right to not incriminate yourself. (Canadian Bill of Rights, 1960. Section. 2. Sub-Section d)

In all interactions, remain calm, polite, respectful, as them to produce EVIDENCE for their actions. They have none. Hold your Position. By doing so you are exposing their liability as they are making these decisions personally, without right or evidence.

I would also highly recommend having audio/video recordings of all interactions. Canada provides rights for SINGLE PARTY recording (https://www.legaltree.ca/node/908). If you are one of the parties in the conversation, and you consent to the recording, then the entire conversation can be recorded by you. If you enter a public accommodation, you can record it. The store is recording you. Did you provide explicit consent to being recorded? No, they just tell you because it is a public accommodation.

Anything you cannot do to someone, another man/woman cannot legally do to you.

Your rights only exist if you exercise them.
