But point 3 is the really important one. Canada doesn’t produce much in terms of industrial goods. Most of it comes from the USA or China. A weak dollar fucks over industry and everyone else.

The engineers after the government decided to impose arbitrary and frankly impossible to meet fuel standards. Everything in the automotive world is dealing with standards imposed by politicians who have no clue.

I think you have point 2 backwards, if Alberta sells oil in US dollars, then we get more Canadian dollars per barrel. So it’s a bit of a benefit.

But you’re absolutely right on points 1 and 3.

Modern cars built with composite materials that are GLUED together. Welding is becoming less common as composites replace steel.

Just another reason to not trade in a perfectly fine, but older vehicle.

Ammunition keeps going up in price. It’s definitely an option and valuable commodity the worse things get.

It’s the ruling class (government, cultural leaders, ect) realizing that the current state of the world (fear, lockdown, restrictions) are great for them. It’s a push to make it permanent for their benefit.

When the mob comes for their heads, they will beg for their lives, point out everything they’ve “done” for the alphabet and crayon people, but it won’t be of any help. They will get their wish - death, and beg for it not to happen.

CRB might work better if they simply round up all the taxpayers, and just have an all out brawl for our wallets.

Fuck off leaches, I don’t have any more to give.

The spreadsheet is by “total payrolls”. So is that number of direct deposits per month, or total clients? What I’m thinking is that this could be counting someone twice if they get paid twice a month. It still shows a gigantic drop in the number of people working, but is the data specifically showing the number of people, or the number of paycheques the software makes?

It’s easy until it’s time to pull 80 joints, switch out the bits, and run back in, all while the consultant is yelling to hurry up and get back to drilling.

It’s like forestry management. Have a smaller fire now to clear out fuel, so that way when the officer is acquitted, there’s not so much to burn.

The uneducated labourers that unions protected back in the day. Now unions protect government desk jockeys and the workers are left out to fend for themselves.
