That must be pretty old. I seem to remember changing retirement age to 67 was a Harper plan, and he reversed his position later.
the stupid color coded bs
The one thing I noticed about the colour-coded BS is that even at the lowest level, there was no mention of full capacities or no masks. That was all the proof I needed that they plan to pull this shit forever.
"...everybody else on the planet can hate it, have a problem with it, denigrate it, but I have my audience and they already love it.”
"And my audience is super fucking small!"
Then again, the first issue of it will likely do well. Comic fans eat it up when iconic characters change, but then after that when they realize it sucks, they'll stop buying in.
Join clubs? Does this place count? Because all the clubs are locked down.
No, he doesn't. And do you know why? Because it works. If he doesn't take responsibility, he never faces consequences.
Delays its plan? Does that mean it released those people who were taken in Alberta?
At least schools will still be open...?
I found it VERY curious that the initial testing seemed unable to differentiate between China Virus, regular flu, the common cold, or someone that had one of those things months ago and still contains the antibodies for it...
...yet somehow now seems able to identify the new strains.
I used to watch WWE frequently during that period and I still have no idea who Tyler Reks was. Was he exclusively on Smackdown or something? Because I didn't watch that nearly as much.
It's even worse than the toronto star.
Let's not get crazy now. Sure, the Post pretends to be conservative when it's not, while the Star is openly leftist, but the Post still has a few good writers on staff (see also: Murphy, Rex.)
"Just get a network of warehouses staffed by people working in slave-like conditions 4Head"
I can only imagine the hell before 1878, when doors had neither knobs nor stops. They must have only had the swinging variety. You had to shoulder or kick them open, and then damn it they wouldn't STAY open! Don't even get me started on locking them.
In 1852, Elisha Otis introduced the safety elevator, which prevented the fall of the cab if the cable broke.
It always kills me that in movies, plummeting elevators when cables break is a thing. For 150 years elevators have been designed for that NOT to happen.
Women and children switched their gaming to phones.
It's funny: I switched my investments TO TD, because they used to be at CIBC, and the fucks at my branch had no clue what they were doing. At one point the manager walked in on my discussion with a rep, trying to figure out how to do what I wanted, and they started talking in Portuguese to one another in front of me as if I wasn't even there. At the very least, my TD rep has two brain cells to rub together.
Or promoted.
It's de rigueur in Muslim countries, so...
Four legs good, two legs better.
I could easily see google saying something to the effect of, "You tell us which Canadian news outlets you want us to pay for. We'll make sure to scrub their existence entirely off Google. When you want them back, YOU pay US."
Canada has ordered enough vaccine for every man, woman and child three times over (accounting for two doses each) with the option for another 1.5 times the Canadian population. Why is that? You might say "Well, it's for our future immigrants and babies" but one, why the fuck would Canada let in unvaccinated immigrants and two, don't vaccines expire? And if they don't, wouldn't the energy cost of keeping those vaccines in deep freeze for years be insane?
Edit: Hey, my first sticky! Thank you!
Dozens isn't nearly enough. The cops can visit dozens and fine the shit out of them in a day, two tops.
Was that true in the 70s though? I know the number of draws went way up since chess engines got more refined and GMs started studying with them, but back then too?
