Is that supposed to mean anything? You're basing this on a few french-speakers you've met? Do you even live on the East Coast? I live in the city featured in this article. I can tell you first-hand that most Quebecers tend to be the most conservative when it comes to their culture. They even tend to be pretty openly racist, admittedly. And that's just Gatineau. Country Quebecers tend to be even more down-to-earth.

I'm the only French-Canadian in my social circle. All my friends are anglophones from Ottawa. Trust me, white anglophones are on average much more socially liberal than French Canadians.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but most urban youth tend to act like this.

The school probably won't ban skirts. They'll probably offer a pants option like they did at my private school in Ontario. IIRC only this Pakistani girl wore pants because her parents wanted her to. Most girls seemed to have had no problem with skirts. The school might already offer a pants option and this entire thing is a virtue-signalling stunt.

I don't know a single Quebecer that listens to the radio, let alone Radio Canada. The YouTube channel itself rarely breaks more than 1000 views per new video.

It's because faking or exaggerating symptoms gets you ahead of the line in socialized/universal healthcare systems.

Kind of like here but 10x worse.

Might also just be elderly people collapsing from heat, stress, or fatigue while waiting for service. If China had to build makeshift quarantine zones, I imagine their healthcare capacity isn't great.

Lol I just noticed his roommate holding his dog behind him.

This guy really needs to hang up his internet 'career'. He obviously can't handle it. I really think it would do him some good.

Yeah, it's insane. They need term limits. Career politics is a fucking cancer. So many of these old farts are completely out of touch with the people they serve.

I can't believe she actually has people on her side in the thread.. Why would you ever want government to monitor speech online.. Do these people not have independent thoughts?

Tfw Bard literally just looks like an older dude with blue hair. There's nothing about him that even tells me "I'm trying to look like a woman". I would accidentally misgender him so many times if I worked there lol

This is like that time Trump won and trans people people thought they were going to get systematically executed in camps.

It's funny too because the Canadian Conservative party isn't that conservative at all.

Would be nice if you typed up a thought-provoking post for once instead of a shit-flinging one-liner with no argument like you usually do.

Why do you think what he said was a fucking joke? I really want to know. Maybe it is a fucking joke. Why don't you try convincing me?

Crashing someone's dinner is probably the best way to get someone on your side.

Letting this go on for a bit is actually working in his favor. He's basically letting Wheeler squirm to expose Democrat leadership. The far-left hate Wheeler because they don't think he's doing enough, regular people hate Wheeler because he's letting their city burn to the ground.

What's making it worse (or better) is that Trump keeps offering federal intervention to help end the chaos. If he accepts, he'll make the radical left angrier, and if he doesn't he makes regular folks angrier. It seems he tried to gain the radical Left's favor by refusing again but it didn't work.

He's going to have to kneel and kiss Trump's ring eventually. It's hilarious.

What if they setup a TransNBA and they have these 7+ feet tall 'women' continuously dunking over these 5 feet tall 'men'.

I really dislike how CBC selectively disables comments on its YouTube videos even though we fund them.

Makes you feel like some pathetic serf.

Leftism and pedophilia seem to go hand-in-hand for some reason. Until about the 90s, France was plagued by a large number of Marxist philosophers. At one point, they got together and tried to petition the French government against age of consent laws.

They don't want you to go against it. There's no longer a debate to be had with them.

The entire LGBT movement has made me more critical of homosexuality and transsexualism than any anonymous free speech forum or imageboard could ever hope. A few years ago, I didn't care about this topic at all. I seriously don't care if you like the same sex or want to dress up. Just stop acting like some arbiter of morality and shoving it in my face.

What are you even trying to imply here? Are teachers supposed to indoctrinate their students in your world view? Are you saying we can't judge what they do because we're not teachers?

When you're at a 5 star restaurant with people and the entire table says that the food tastes like shit, do you hush them by reminding them that they're not a 5 star chef and that they simply do not know what good food is? What are you trying to say?

I'm working on it. I wanted to take the restricted course as well before I submit my application but looks like all courses are suspended because of covid in the meantime.

But even then, now I have to wait like 6-12 months for them to check my file and send me a PAL?
