Jagmeet doesn't care if the NDP survives. After he destroys the NDP, the Greens will fill the traditional loony left spot and he'll accept a senate seat from Trudeau as payment for a job well done. You heard it here.
I don't think they will. My reasoning is that they're 100% on board with the loony left culture war shit, representing only the worst SJWs and ethnic nationalist brown people. They've completely alienated the blue collar workers. The big unions are now supporting the Liberals from what I've seen.
It's not like white working class voters are just going to swap back when the Libs/Cons fill the need.
Definitely the media didn't help. The media and the small sample of polls said the race was between Mackay and O'Toole, this was true in the end but false in the way how close the race was in reality. This media framing forced CPC members to make a choice between O'toole and mackay. "I like lewis more but I got to stop Mackay so i'm voting O'toole" - probably most realistic CPC members. If we had a primary system, we would see Lewis gain momentum in provinces with real results and how weak the support for Mackay actually was. I would predict Lewis would have won in that system. Media would also have to give her more attention in that scenario.
US system as controlled as it is, does allow an outsider to have a chance. Trump would never have won if he ran 3rd party. He was smart enough to know he had to win the nomination of 1 of the 2 main parties. In canada, the parliamentary system essentially screws any outsiders. Lewis made a run at it, but Canada doesn't have a primary system unlike America. So any 'outsider' who wants to win has to win a shitty leadership race where everyone who votes in it has to be a member (money is a barrier of entry), and there's no campaign like a primary season where momentum can truly build from state to state.
Marci Ien.
A privileged black woman who has made a career out of race baiting like it's the newest fashion trend.
Great. The chaos continues.
It really is chaos. Burn the liberal cities to the fucking ground.
Imagine living in a country where journalists and climate activists run the government.
No point voting NDP because the Liberals are now a far-left party.
Nobody really cares about elections or democracy in Canada anymore. That's for dumb old stock Canadians.

And lose embarrassingly badly in each one.
Too many far left sheep in Canada
Oh a liberal won a byelection toronto... totally deserves a sticky and a sensational headline. /s
Tomorrows sticky thread: GUys wE LOST because the SKY IS BLUE!
CPC voters really messed up by choosing O'toole over Lewis.

Acceleration time, let’s go
Ham is already typing his 1500 word rant about Bernier.
"WTF Bernier playing spoiler, fuck Bernier!"
"lol Bernier so inconsequential, voting for him is a waste of time..."
Ham must be pick one. jk he keeps saying both when it suits him.
God damn, I even like PPC and Bernier but he should have dropped out in the final days for the sake of the country. WTF!
