There's no way that a 6 and 8 year old cost them more than 1100$ extra a month. Literally how they pay rent.
For a child under 6 the child benefits you get mostly don't even cover costs for the kindergarten. I have three kids. One over 6, two under 6. A month of kindergarten costs around $500 a month in my area (and in cities like Toronto you pay like $1200 a month) and I don't get the full amount of child benefits, because I make way more than minimum wage. I get around $250 per month for the under 6 year olds and about $150 for the older one.
The maximum amount is about $550 for every child under 6 and $450 for every child over 6. But you would only get this amount if you're at poverty level.
What part of Africa do you live in where kindergarten isn't paid for by taxes?
Canada. Seems like you don't have kids, because you're wrong. Kindergarten isn't paid by the government. You have to pay it. Though if you're in the low income bracket, your provincial government will subsidize some of the costs.
