We have seen a stronger correlation with seasonality and case numbers than we have with masks. So far, it is the strongest correlation factor we have with regards to infection.
Our government is saying that widespread distribution will be around April, when one million doses per week will arrive in the country

Reduction in case numbers will be attributed to the efficacy of the vaccine
Similarly, now they’re saying that previous infection provides immunity for about 5 months before you can be reinfected again. I see no reason the vaccine would provide superior long term immunity
We’ll see case numbers rise again toward the winter of 2021, it’ll be attributed to waning immunity, you’ll need your booster shot. Society will be blamed for insufficient uptake of the vaccine.
I fear the cycle will go on forever
The biggest fraud is each hemisphere is using the other as an example to push lockdowns. For instance, Northern is using New Zealand and Australia numbers to show lockdown works and masks and other efficacy. They dont tell you that the flu seasons are flipped and coincide with their winter and summer months just like ours do. The Southern hemisphere used the same approach to justify their lockdowns using our seasonal data last spring-summer when flu/covid numbers went down.
We will see how effective the vaccine is with countries like Israel or the UK. They will have a huge share of the population vaccinated before the winter ends.
And even a higher chance of dying with Covid.

Well they still haven't been able to isolate the virus, nor has an actual scientist illustrated a clear distinction between Covid and the seasonal flu - particularly as it relates to testing. Until such a time this happens I'll treat everything they're saying as the flu.
Theoretically the mRNA vaccine can create more accurate antibodies than a traditional immune response, but we won't have that data until most of the population is vaccinated.
I'm cautiously optimistic here, because the alternative means a shortened life span for everyone. If we can't stop this thing, we will be seeing significantly higher incidences of lung, heart, and neurological damage in the long term.
