Socialist hellhole, Norway, has led the way in electric adoption for cars and virtually all indoor heating is from electricity in lieu of oil or coal based options. There are 5 million people in Norway. They are currently experiencing brownouts as electric use has outstripped production amidst a major coldsnap affecting the country. They are using MORE electricity than their neighbour, Sweden, despite having HALF the population of Swedistan.

This is all stemming from the use and mass adoption/forced electric cars, of which they have over 10,000 charging stations in their country and are paying the price for their green policies now. In fact, they are expected to see an increase in electric power consumption by over 30% in the coming decade and have signed binding declarations for their green energy push.

This is the future our politicians are pursuing for Canada and are actively destroying our domestic oil economy in the name of "progress". Our population is growing at an insane rate due to mass replacement immigration and record numbers are promised even amid a global pandemic. We are a northern climate and our power generation will not keep up with demand at this rate. But we already have provinces mandating promises for no gas cars by 2035 and other nonsense. Our power grids will not keep up with it. Solar is a meme - world leader Panasonic is exiting the industry which should tell you how viable it is as an economic and future alternative - and wind doesnt even pay for itself. Batteries are expensive and use rare earth metals that have seen their prices skyrocket over past few years due to demand. Also uses slave labour and leaves giant scars on planet from mining that somehow is "green". There is no recycling for solar panels or plan for it despite many early solar panels now at their lifecycle and going to landfills.

Another issue is oil products. Your phone, computer, polymer based products, mass produced clothing, televisions, plastics, and virtually everything in modern world runs on oil. It's not just cars and oil tanks for heating. The byproducts are what make oil profitable. Bitumen from oilsands has bad carbon ratios, so is "bad oil" and American refineries only run it to fill gaps so they have 0 downtime. They would rather almost any other oil so they can upgrade it and get the more valuable byproducts. What happens when demand for gas and diesel bottoms out for electricity? Do you think youll get a phone made of hemp or some biodegradable soy litchin nonsense? You think these products will stay the same price after the collapse?

Ultimately, green energy is not green. It's a giant scam and shadow economy you are not a part of and to which you can not participate in. They can trade tax credits and carbon shares and various other economic futures. You cannot. They can get billions in government funding. You must pay for it with carbon taxes. They get tax breaks for their programs. You must pay for it. They fly around on jets that produce more emissions in a flight than you in a year. You must reduce your emissions and pay for your sins. They move production and jobs to foreign countries and then ship everything back to you on super tankers that produce more emissions in 6 months than all automobiles on earth in a year. This is for the environment of course. Pipelines are evil despite safest mode of transport for oil. Only spills are typically from sabotage at points the pipelines come above ground. We must stop pipelines and use trains, which have high spills and accident rates. This is so billionaire owner of railways gets all traffic. Half our country is now dependent on super tankers bringing oil from unregulated environmentally destructive middle east instead of locally. This is somehow greener.

Enjoy your brownouts. Enjoy the inflation. We'll be huddled for warmth while refugees sit in hotels. But at least we'll have electric cars that barely start in -30 weather! It's for the environment of course.
