If he actually believes being for a carbon tax is going to win him votes, he's gone insane.
It's almost as if the media is able to define the Conservative Party and all of its decisions before the members & representatives even have a chance to envision this for themselves... ?
Much like Unions "consult" their membership before they tell them what "they" want in "their" deal.
There are safe rural Alberta and Saskatchewan seats that went 80% CPC that are in trouble if the CPC starts supporting a carbon tax. The Maverick Party (formerly WEXIT) would probably be the ones to snatch up these seats. The prairie cities would see the CPC vote get split and potentially liberal or NDP candidates win. It would be a complete disaster for O’Toole.
You can't call it a tax when we call it pricing.
