Half jury is black in a demographic area where they make up like 10% of population, too. But the simple fact is they should all be held accountable for deliberate abuse of their duty as jurors. They needed a majority to not have hung jury and all had to agree after like 6 hours deliberation that this was a blatant murder with intent to kill by Chauvin and there was no reasonable doubt whatsoever. A blind man could see there was endless evidence, from autopsy saying its enough drugs to kill an elephant to experts outright stating he had 98% oxygen saturation to different video angles showing not on his neck and on and on. Theres a crowd with one witness outright harassing Chauvin and threatening to attack him on camera and had to be pushed away and admits to it all and this makes the scene untenable and the police cannot attempt to administer any first aid when their lives are in danger like that (anyone could step up and attack them while they are giving cpr or mouth to mouth and unable to defend themselves in that situation and its not safe by all metrics for current law enforcement standards).
There were also 3 other fucking guys there and only one man is accountable? And he had intent? They are accessories to murder now since they are trained police and could clearly see him murdering him and allowed it to happen.
At end of day, the jurors are criminals in my eyes. Its not even a matter of disagreeing with the outcome. There are potential manslaughter type charges you could place in some perverted sense of justice, but criminal intent and guilty on all charges is gross maleficence on their part. To come to a super majority for that verdict on all counts is criminal. They need to be face their own peers if this is the justice they saw.
