a) he didnt have lethal dose of fentanyl combined with meth in his system (this combination in particular causes breathing difficulties that make it impossible to breathe and feel like you are drowning and illicits "I CANT BREATHE" screaming)
b) hadnt been passing counterfeit bills around
c) didnt stick around with his drug dealer doing a deal for more drugs after store refused his counterfeit bill and called police
d) didnt have a wanted felon on multiple warrants in his passenger seat
e) didnt act insane when approached by police to the point they had to pull their guns
f) didnt resist arrest after acting insane and forcing police to try and move him to the police vehicle, which he violently rocked and intentionally fell to ground on way over to try and resist and in which his own friends are on film questioning why hes acting so stupid
g) hadnt resisted arrest further once they stopped trying to put him in the car to the point they had to restrain him on the ground and in which he continued to try and move and break free from them while screaming like a madman.
If at any point he didnt do one of these, or other such nonsense, he would likely still be alive. At no point is any of this the police fault. His skin colour didnt play a factor at any point. More whites are shot annually by police, mostly while unarmed, than blacks. Blacks are also only really shot when they fire upon police in comparison to every other race. This is easily accessible data provided by FBI, etc. Independent studies also show the same correlations. Chauvin was married to an Asian prior to the incident (believe she left him when this happened). The other officers on scene were I think an asian and two hispanics or some such. He was partnered with one non-white. He was not charged with any hate crimes. If Floyd died because he was black, it would be a hate crime. What did happen is that Chauvin was convicted because of the colour of his skin - he was guilty of being white. That was his only crime. Youll note the other 3 arent accessories and didnt get charged with up to 75 years of murder for doing their job. Kyle Rittenhouse is going to get life in prison for being attacked by a mob and not letting them bash his brains in with skateboards all because he's white, too.
