And how do we know that this sort of thing isn't a regular occurrence there? Also, this is not mass cremation. Mass cremation is when you build layers of wood and bodies in one structure and burn that. It's more economical. Which is what they probably would be doing with a sudden upsurge of dead bodies. Also is the Ganges full or what?
Yeah, this is the country where you can't take a dip in the river without having to dodge an endless parade of human corpses.
Unfortunately most people don't think critically about the news and will fall for this, without ever stopping to ask themselves "How do I know this isn't just normal business as usual for India"?
Looking at the surroundings, this is in the middle of a slum and is pretty busy on a good day. If there was drone footage of cremations like this in the rich part of town then there’s an obvious problem.
