And that's why you don't wave tiki torches at lockdown protests.
These leftist scum win the PR battle when they can convince voters that anyone who disagrees with their agenda is a racist/sexist/whatever who regular people shouldn't listen to. As such, they are just waiting for you to say or do something that they can use to substantiate that accusation and cement their narrative with the public. And that's exactly what you hand them on a silver platter when you do shit like bring tiki torches to lockdown protests.
And spare me the "Durr but they're going to call us that no matter what we do!".
Ok well why not wave swastikas and do Hitler salutes then? By your logic doing that shit won't hurt your credibility since people are calling you nazis regardless, right? No, of course that would make things worse, because you're turning a spurious "right-wing extremist" accusation into a credible one by doing that.
Yes, they're going to call you those names regardless. But it makes a difference whether or not they have any evidence to support their claim. Without evidence, they sound crazy. With evidence, they sound credible. It's not complicated. Leave the tiki torches at home.
Jesus christ are you serious? That's what you read for that?
Ok then why not do shit like wave swastikas? If they're going to call you nazis no matter what you do, then it doesn't matter, right?
You don't agree with good fortune?
Which is why you don't give them any bullshit at all to work with.
I don't understand what's so difficult to understand about "It's a bad idea to wave tiki torches at your lockdon rally".
Except that's not credible. The tiki torch thing is. Who comes to mind when you think of tiki torches at protests?
I just don't understand on why you guys are so hell bent committing these PR own goals. Why are you so committed to these tiki torches?
Hahaha why are you so devoted to the use of tiki torches at protests?
And how do you not understand that the public see a link between tiki torches and Charlottesville? Are you being wilfully dense?
The excuse people are using to justify the tiki torches is that the left are going to call them white nationalists no matter what they do, so they might as well just carry the tiki torches.
That's stupid logic. You wouldn't wave swastikas at a lockdown rally, would you? No, you wouldn't because that would give the left's accusations credibility. And like it or not, there is now a link between tiki torches at protests and white nationalists, thanks to Charlottesville protestors. So in that sense, waving a tiki torch is like waving a swastika in the public consciousness. People see tiki torches at protests, they think Charlottesville. You can pretend that not the case but it clearly is.
I just don't understand why you people are so married to these fuckign tiki torches. Like holy shit.
And yet you people still have meltdowns when someone explains to you why it's bad idea to wave tiki torches at lockdown protests. It's as if you're immune to reason.
It doesn't matter if you think it's bullshit, it only matters that the public see an association between tiki torches and white nationalists, which means it's a bad idea to wave tiki torches at your protest (unless you want people to think you're white nationalists).
LOL all the tiki tards are here!
