You are almost completely wrong. The only part you got right was that they fought amongst each other but so what? Like, the Europeans didn't, or something?
After that it's hard to know where to start. Probably the best thing you could do would be to read "1491" by Charles C. Mann. It's a pretty good overview of the state of indigenous cultures in the Americas prior to contact with Europeans. Plus it has a 70 page bibliography for his sources if you want to know more about something he mentions.

Hard to say. They lasted tens of thousands of years without them. Time will tell how well we do with them.
Like I said: as if that made them different from Europeans. It doesn't.
It's pretty clear that's the story you have in your head. It sounds like you're basing it on the movies and TV you've watched - I can't think of any other place you'd get those ideas.
