In Canada, your rights depend on how the politically correct view your group. If you are white, male, or Christian, you go to the back of the hiring queue, behind even non-citizens, because of 'Employment Equity'/anti-white male quotas. In criminal courts whites are given longer sentences, see the Gladue decision. Now, even police protection is less. Many aboriginals are Catholic but our politically correct government does not care.
People never followed the Old Testament. Don't eat pork and shellfish. Don't wear garments made out of different fabric. Executing people who break Sabbath.
Those were specific rules to a specific people at a specific time. That’s why it’s called the Mosiac law, it’s the law from Moses to the Israelites. Doesn’t apply to you if Moses isn’t talking to you, and you’re not an Israelite wandering through the desert.
You can make the same point about Mohammed marrying a 6 year old. Just specific rules at a specific time.
Same goes for things like being gay or cheating on your husband, which are all punished by death in the Old Testament. Are these also just specific rules for specific people at specific times? Or are you just cherry picking what you like or don't like?

How? How would you make that point? People who lust after this kind of lust are graduate from looking to actually doing, bringing great harm to children. Fornication is among the “lusts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16–21) and among the evil things that come from the heart of a man apart from God (Mark 7:21–23).
Those commandments are from God, that apply to all people at all time.
It's like saying, "The rules of your strata say no plants out on your deck. But if you think those rules only apply to you, because they're from the strata in 1990 specifically for the residents of the strata in 1990, you're mistaken! Those rules apply to everyone!"

That's why it's called the mosaic law - from MOSES to the ISRAELITES. It's an amalgamation of the words - they wanted it to be very, very, very obviously a specific commandment to a specific people at a specific time. It's a historical record.
Join the Jehova's Witnesses. Almost 70% of them are women. You will just have to turn down your racism, go to church twice a week and preach from door to door every couple of days.
G.K. Chesterton once noted: "Christendom has had a series of revolutions and in each one of them Christianity has died. Christianity has died many times and risen again; for it had a god who knew the way out of the grave."
Thanks. This was the original ‘it’s understable’ interview. Since then many more churches have been burned and Trudeau appears to have said nothing and no one seems to have have asked about it.
One or two since then burned down. The truth is that nobody cares about. Trudope goes around telling people that it's understandable, but people shouldn't do it, Singh is one step away from praising it and O'Toole made a tweet denouncing it. That's it.

Liberals talk about islamophobia, Conservatives about antisemitism while Christian Churches burn.

The Old Testament got superceded in 33 AD.

I should start this off by quote Red Pen Logic by Mr B
We welcome all questions. But let's not pretend all questions are equal. Some questions are looking for answers, and some are looking for exits.
You're clearly looking for an exit here, but if not, have a quick read of this. It's an answer. But it might block your exit. ;-)

I could give up bacon and polyester if it means I get a chance to have a qt 3.14 female wife.

You can always convert to Islam. As close as it gets today to the Old Testament.
A Christian society isn't a just and righteous society.
The Old Testament also says no to bacon.

Persecution makes Christians stronger. Just like bad times make strong men.
But I doubt society will embrace christianity again soon, it may be driven underground or marginalized as it is in many other places around the world.
And not a single ‘reporter’ would dare ask the PM or any minister about the church burnings. Pathetic.
He was asked about it.
