Apparently "unvaccinated" includes people who received their first dose less than 14 days ago. The fact that 1/3 of cases are partially/fully vaccinated and an unknown number of "unvaccinated" actually have been jabbed, really should make you wonder. Some of these people are ending up in ICU as well. In the end though we're talking about a few dozen people in a province of 14.5 million.
Well, it makes a huge difference. People like you are implying that "unvaccinated" people are solely those who choose not to be vaccinated, when in fact that's not the case.
Are you suggesting that covid will only mutate in unvaccinated infected people? I highly doubt that. Hate to break it to you, covid is never going away. Even if 100% of Canadians are vaccinated and receive numerous "booster" shots, it would continue to circulate and likely mutate often.

Nope.
If you look at the web page you'll see they have stats for the partially vaccinated. They have ranged from about 7 to 14%
Yup. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E8Y-LXwWQAYIjCY.jpg
You're right. "Unvaccinated" includes people whose vaccination hasn't had time to work.
I'm not sure why that makes a difference to you. A vaccination that's too recent to matter is the same thing as unvaccinated.
A third of 14.5 million is a lot of potential virus variations.
