The 150 are just a blip. The Houston Methodist Hospital network has over 25,000 employees. 150 denied the vaccine. Less than 1%.
They would have required additional nurses either way, even if these weren't fired.
the hospital in the article itself has 7420 employees not the network/affiliates and each hospital in the area is requesting/short 100-250 nurses. so yes they'd require nurses either way but losing 150 nurses/employees would definitely contribute more than your <1%
How many of these 150 fired were nurses?
not able to find any data on that! suppose you could make a weak guesstimate and tally up all the nurses/doctors employed by that hospital and then use the rate of unvaccinated from the 1st article i posted and come up with a rough figure there. 1800 physicians, unknown amount of maintenance staff/clerk/admin and unknown amount of nurses all i've found. i'll ask a friend who's a surgeons assistant in TX if he knows more about it or if you have the numbers feel free
