Choose wisely: vote for a party you dislike to try to stave off a party you like less, or vote your conscience and try to build something you actually DO like
There is no long term in this. If Trudeau gets re-elected he'll control Canada for the next for years at least. A majority will given him the almost dictatorial powers he tried to bestow upon himself back in 2020. You're assuming that he wouldn't take measures to effectively ban any opposition, especially from what he claims to be "far-right".
So you're willing to allow elections to be held between two massively corrupt entries forever on the basis that you don't want the wrong massively corrupt entity to win?
Are you fucking retarded? You don't see a difference between:
Balanced budgets vs massive deficits?
Removing interprovincial trade barriers vs keeping them?
Cutting taxes vs increasing them?
Ending cooperate welfare vs keeping it?
Building pipelines vs not building pipelines?
A $50/tonne carbon tax vs a $170/tonner carbon tax?
Imposing mandatory minimum sentences for violent criminals vs no mandatory minimums?
Reforming the Not Criminally Responsible Designation to prioritize public safety vs prioritizing the fee-fees of killers?
Addressing rural crime vs ignoring it?
Passing an act to prevent radicals blocking roads and railways vs leaving the radicals to block whatever they want?
Reducing reliance on foreign oil vs keeping us reliant on it?
Fixing equalization payments so Alberta stops getting fucked vs leaving it as is?
Closing the safe 3rd country loophole vs leaving it open?
Turning illegal immigrants away vs accepting them?
Reversing Trudeau’s appeasement of Communist China vs continuing it?
Cracking down on the efforts of the Chinese Communist Party to infiltrate Canadian institutions vs leaving China to do what they want here?
Suspending the Canada-China Legislative Association vs keeping it?
Increasing military funding vs lowering it?
Making defence procurement the responsibility of a single minister vs leaving it split between multiple ministers and departments?
Unfucking the arbitrary firearms classification system vs leaving it as is?
Making it legal to discharge a restricted firearm on your property vs forcing you to take it to a gun club to shoot?
Getting clean drinking water to FN reserves vs leaving them to rot?
Focusing immigration on skilled labour for which there's an unmet demand vs letting in every sick, lame, lazy, elderly, useless sack of shit in the world?
Reducing even skilled immigration levels if/when post-covid unemployment is high (which it will be for years) vs keeping the flood gates open regardless of unemployment levels?
Ending Trudeau's media bailout vs keeping the media on the gov't dole?
Ending funding to CBC digital vs funding them?
Cutting funding for CBC English TV and News Network by 50% vs maintaining or increasing their funding?
Passing a law against the government using ideological purity tests to determine who gets a job or who gets funding vs allowing ideological purity tests?
Stopping Trudeau’s Internet Takeover vs allowing it?
You just copy and pasted a list of promises, not things the CPC would do.
Balancing the budget in 10 years is as good as never balancing it. In 10 years O'Toole won't be on office (if he wins today).
The Conservatives won't end corporate welfare. It's not even in O'Toole "Secure the Future" plan.
Mandatory minimum sentences for violent crimes are already a thing. Trudeau isn't removing them. What is being removed are mandatory minimum sentences for fire and drug offences and these are being removed by the courts, including the Supreme Court which ruled them unconstitutional. O'Toole can't change that.
Rural crime will be always ignored. Over 80% of Canadians live in cities. Nobody cares what happen out here.
Equalization won't be touched.
Military spending went up by over 25% under Trudeau. From $17 billion to over $22 billion a year. You know how the budget will be balanced? Military budget will be cut. Harper did the same in his quest for a balanced budget.
There are dozens of FN reserves which got clean water under Trudeau and there will be dozens of FN reserves which will get it under the next PM. It's not a money thing. It's a time thing.
Closing the 3rd country loophole is only possible if the US agrees to it. They won't. Not even under Biden.
And on immigration you have things like "the Liberals aren't bringing the families of immigrants over fast enough" in O'Toole's plan. They literally advocate for importing 70 year old grandparents over to Canada, because "family".
What you posted is what you wish the CPC would stand for, not the reality.
And you're a lying piece of shit telling people there's no difference between the Liberals and Conservatives in order to trick them into spoiling their ballots. Fuck off and don't come back.
I live in Victoria so my vote for O'Toole would mean jack shit, I'm throwing one down for PPC
Choose wisely: vote for a party you dislike to try to stave off a party you like less, or vote your conscience and try to build something you actually DO like
...and end up with the party you like the least.
Gotta think long term bro - is it worth a minor short term win if it requires the CPC to continue going farther and farther left to appease the libs?

What do you want them to do, go full Bernier so they can poll in the single digits like the PPC?
The party that wins the centre wins the election. As it always has been and always will be.

Explain how the CPC is "massively corrupt".
Leadership elections come to mind
Just because your guy lost doesn't mean it was rigged.
What counterstrikes?

....because Benrier is such a paragon of integrity who will totally do what he promises.
