I hate the PPC. I hate Doug Ford even more for presiding over the longest lockdown in North America.
I was going to sit out the next provincial election because I will never again vote for a party led by Doug Ford. I'll vote PPC. I will change my mind and vote conservative again if they replace Doug Ford.
Again, you're not looking at this rationally. What he did was unforgivable but he was without a doubt the lesser evil. It would have been FAR worse if the NDP or the Liberals were in charge.
Yes, it most definitely would be. Hogwash (autocorrect from Horwath but I’ll leave it as it’s appropriate or Del Luca) would have likely set up concentration camps and let folks die without medical treatment.
Conservative politicians, however, need to realize that they can’t demand their supporters votes on the basis that they’d be less evil than the other parties. It has a proven track record of not working (as much as you or anyone else would like it to do so). It doesn’t win them votes from the left, and they bleed support from their own party.
Maybe they should try participating in municipal elections. Small steps to show people that they can govern, and their ideas are good. The conservatives still need to get their act together and start acting like conservatives, not liberal light.
All splitting the conservative vote will do is reduce the chances of conservatives winning seats held in the legislature thereby strengthening the NDP/Lib Monopoly.
BC doesn't even have a viable "conservative" party so that argument has no merit. Besides, "conservative" isn't the label or ideology you want to rally around if you want to win elections.
Also, I keep putting “anti vax” in quotes because Everyone here and in real life is simply anti mandate, it’s the leftists much like yourself who try to group any type of skepticism or distain for government overreach as anti vax…… barely any of us are anti vax, we all have most or all of our vaccines. It’s simply a leftist narrative that is pathetic for you to parrot.
LOL, this is about provincial politics what the fuck are you talking about?
Geez, how did you become such a retarded useless twat? You don't know the first thing about culture and politics, you just regurgitate Kinsella and Steven Taylor talking points as if you had some profound original thought.
PPC living in your head rent fREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ROFL.
So where the CPC won 13 federal seats in BC and the PPC won zero, can you explain why you think the PPC can win seats in the BC legislature where the BC Conservatives can't?
Just admit at makes no sense and you're applying wishful thinking here.
Since I didn't say any of that I don't have to explain it. Just admit you made a mistake and thought this was about federal politics.
Listen retard, the BC Conservative party hasn't won a seat since 1975. A new PPC party isn't going to hurt them at all, you can't split a vote that wasn't there to begin with ROFL!!!!.
If I thought it was about federal politics, why would I have specified "federal" in the initial comment:
The federal Conservatives won 13 seats in BC last election. How many did the PPC win?
?
I asked that because it has relevance to how well a provincial people's party would do in BC.
Now, once again: So where the CPC won 13 federal seats in BC and the PPC won zero, can you explain why you think the PPC can win seats in the BC legislature where the BC Conservatives can't?
The CPC panders to leftist ideology and their supporters can’t figure out why people don’t trust them.
good

You'd seriously prefer Andrea Horwath, the woman who raised this abomination, running your province? Seriously?
Edit: Oh, I guess the Liberals are back out in front of the NDP. PC still have a comfortable lead though somehow.

My income goes up and down with the economy. No one politician ever affected my income more than Doug Ford. I hate him.
That would have happened no matter what party was in office. It probably would have been worse if the NDP or the Liberals were in charge.
You can’t get any worse than worst. It was Doug Ford who presided over the longest lockdown in North America. I hate him.
Again, you're not looking at this rationally. What he did was unforgivable but he was without a doubt the lesser evil. It would have been FAR worse if the NDP or the Liberals were in charge.

If O'Toole and the CPC are hiding then it's no surprise that things like this are happening.
I think you didn't understand him. He thinks that the PPC is the reason why the Liberals will rule forever. Ham hates the PPC.
All splitting the conservative vote will do is reduce the chances of conservatives winning seats held in the legislature thereby strengthening the NDP/Lib Monopoly.

LOL you think if the near-right Conservatives can't win a seat the extreme-right Qanon/Antivax/White-nationalist PPC will? For real?
The federal Conservatives won 13 seats in BC last election. How many did the PPC win?
This PPC nonsense is all demented wishful thinking. Come back to reality.
Ham, you’re just as “anti vax” as any of them.
No I'm not. I'm anti-mandate. There's a difference. I don't call people communists for getting the vaccine like PPCtards do.
How many seats did the uncompromising, hard right approach win for the PPC?
Answer: Zero. That is by far the worst approach any party can take. It amazes me that you guys are so wilfully blind to that.
You sir are the one who is relentlessly stating that the ppc took votes away from the conservatives. How did they do this?
By appealing to the farthest right fringes of the conservative side of the electorate. Before the PPC, those people were voting conservative.
This isn't rocket science.
