You're having trouble with the fact that vaccinated people can catch and spread the virus, aren't you?
What you appear not to understand is that vaccinated people, overall, don't get as sick and don't spread it as easily as the unvaccinated. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.20.21262158v1
Both of these effects - not getting as sick and not passing it on as easily - reduce the load on the healthcare system and increases the chance that someone with non-covid medical troubles will get the care they need.

So it's 10 days to Christmas. How accurate was that prediction?

I would agree with you if the vaccines weren't so good at reducing the severity and fatality rate for those who received them.
