Yeah, because nothing has changed in 70 years.. Not.
From the same essay: "The ruling power is always faced with the question, ‘In such and such circumstances, what would you DO?’, whereas the opposition is not obliged to take responsibility or make any real decisions."
Sorta like a lot of Omega Canada - 99% sniping, 1% practical suggestions, maybe less.
well, for sake of argument.
electric cars, as a philosophy, has been around for over a century.
while the battery technology crawled along at a seemingly impossibly pace,
the grid never was designed to support it. and still hasnt been upgraded to support it.
the grid, being 50% natural gas and 40% coal, in most places...
barring say, france which is supposedly 80% nuclear...
and california, which has no coal power... (but still mostly natural gas)
and so, for however long nuclear has been available...
have these countries crying for 'renewables' been pushing for nuclear? of course not.
in the US, barry had a chance to build the first new nuclear plant in georgia
but stalled cus 'reasons' like a 'tsunami hitting georgia' amongst others.
and SO
every year, i watch these leftist complain about all sorts of things.
globaly warming, etc al
and yet. their hope is that solar and batteries will cure the world.
whilst ignoring california, being the most renewable by any standard,
telling their citizenry to 'turn of devices during the day' due their inability
to provide power to the grid...
california, being the 6th largest economy in the world and all the money they
could ever want regarding energy and their grid...
as if, they dont want actual answers...
i need not even go into fresh water supply or desalination...
i digress
They prefer answers that don't involve insoluble waste problems.
