Well, what's going to trigger a war in the US is also happening in Canada as we speak. Both governments have turned into despotic tyrannies that abuse their powers to repress political opposition, they've both started taking political prisoners, they're both using the security apparatus to intimidate dissenters etc etc. The US and Canada are closely mirroring each other as this unfolds. They took Jan 6th political prisoners, we took Freedom Convoy political prisoners. They created a "Disinformation governing board" to censor dissent on the internet, we're creating a "Digital Safety Commissioner" to do the same. Canada and the US are both singing off the same sheet of music.
Up next: The RCMP raids Poilievre's residence for some reason.
The main difference between Canada and the US in this scenario is that Americans are less apt to just lay down and accept the loss of their democracy and the rule of law. Canadians will give them up without a fight, and call you names if you try to object.
Well said. As far as I’m concerned, America (specifically the south) is pretty much the last bastion of freedom we have in the world. Should that fall we are as good as fucked. We’ll see what happens for the midterms. Hopefully once that comes, and republicans sweep, we might see some changes. In the meantime, pray that our govt. will ease up for these next few months on us. I thank our founding fathers for setting up a federalist system, otherwise Trudeau would probably have imposed mandatory vaccines on us by now.
Trudeau learned the Senate is not going to rubber stamp his communist agenda after they revealed the intent to deny the Emergencies Act. He had to back down.
If they had allowed it, he would have had the China style vaccine passports implemented by now.
Since all ledgislation has to pass the Senate approval process and they have write of last edit Trudeau doesn't trust them to leave his efforts intact and he showed them his true colors and therefore now are wary of any new efforts he puts forth.
It's possible the NDP may sway as they are looking at losing National party stature in the next election in a blow out they may get on board for a vote of non-confidence if they realise it is the destruction of the NDP to support Trudeau.
All we need is the forcing of the liberals to present a budget to vote on and there will be a new election. The liberals are waiting to see if their sock puppet can get enough fake votes to bypass Pierre.
If so they will call a new election, if not the pressure to create a budget will grow and after that a vote of non-confidence after that.
You really think the NDP are gonna turn on the Libs? Cant see that happening. We might have to wait until 2025, unfortunately. Don’t know how much longer this country can take Trudeau though.

I do. A coalition government never works.
