"A plan devised by the Canadian Joint Operations Command relied on propaganda techniques similar to those employed during the Afghan war"
Yeah and we know how that one turned out. A gynormous rainbow flag floating over the embassy in Kabul. Very subtle propaganda that won so many hearths and minds that the whole country collapsed in a week.
From the article: "The federal government never asked for the so-called information operations campaign, nor did cabinet authorize the initiative developed during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Canadian Joint Operations Command, then headed by Lt.-Gen. Mike Rouleau."
Just like the Prime Minister’s office did not pressure the RCMP to release specific info about the Nova Scotia mass shooting during the initial investigation.
Not saying the government had anything to do with this military propaganda; just saying that a quote in an article shouldn’t automatically be believed.
No one gives a shit in Canada about this. We are doomed.
Same here.
This shit must end

We have very little knowledge or understanding of military style propaganda. Don’t be naive.
Well we know it doesn
t work: They can
t even fill recruiting quotas. OTOH, I see propaganda every day: CBC, Global, etc.Don’t be naive. Like I said, you have no idea what’s really going on behind the scenes
