Isn’t it ever. Even most of the church girls I know are damn near narcissists. It sucks.

As a former Saskatooner, do it. The city punches way above its class in restaurants, music, architecture and science. Little known fact: the first radiation treatments on cancers were performed there, using apparatus built in-city. The Western Development Museum has an excellent exhibit on it. Also the cyclotron at the University.

Don’t worry, I love bashing corporate and engineering as much as the next smug working guy. In these cases however, the airmanship of the pilots was utter trash. Totally disgraceful to the entire profession.

And a damn fine reason to become a racist.

Actually, there is quite a lot of that information publicly available. This article goes into deep detail, but in a way accessible to non-airmen. I highly recommend it!

lol, I can’t imagine who would deserve the honour of a Canadian Kingship.

Remember, any change in Canada’s head of state will be way more expensive than the status quo. Look at how much more the American Presidency steals from its citizens than the Crown takes from us.

I dare say this will supplant WorkSafe BC’s horrible jobsite injury prevention propaganda as the most disturbing government ads in Canadian history.

Funny how we allegedly owe the entire world a high standard of living, so by all means, stuff them in as fast as possible!

Alberta is still a racist, capitalist, plutocratic hellhole that people can’t seem to flee. More at 11.

lol. We have no news, only propaganda.

Yeah, the Beaver is such a tank. There’s nothing else on the market quite like it. When an airframe from the late 50s is still worth reskinning, re-engineing and kitting out with modern avionics, you know you have a winner.

I get the numbers. I think the resentment comes from England & co. bailing their asses out twice at ruinous cost in the last century, and then the US trying to fix their colonial SNAFU and failing. I don’t doubt their fighting spirit, but their recent history is rather shit.

Yeah, I take your point. We had a lot of potential in the early jet age, but we blew it. We blew it hard.

Such a beautiful time in aviation history though.

I know it’s not nearly as cool, but Canada does still have some aerospace gems. Diamond Aircraft assemble some of the most fuel-efficient aircraft ever made in London. Very, very cool engine and composite technology on display in their models.

And who could forget that a Canadian company remains the only one to ever successfully put a civil aircraft type back into production after a long pause and several ownership changes. You might appreciate this take on the indomitable de Havilland Twin Otter. https://thewalrus.ca/air-apparent/

Ayyy, my people too! Pity my whole church is full of pliable sheep. Absolutely none of them question the state’s abuse of power during this ‘pandemic’.

They don’t call the Beech Bonanza “Doctor Killer” for nothing.
