Scott Adams said it best, facts don't change opinions. So you are spot on with the emotional argument, the left plays the emotional card the best and the culture and media reinforce it well for them. As for populist parties in Canada, the only viable path I see is taking over the CPC from within. Sort of like Trump with the GOP. First we need a populist leader of the CPC, and even then it will be rough (look at how the GOP establishment treated Trump). I voted PPC in 2019. Max made a lot of errors that probably have screwed the party. First he didn't even secure his own seat, and was campaigning in left wing cities like Hamilton, Halifax, Windsor. He also let a lot of morons run as candidates, which gave the media the fuel it needed to label the party as insane. Max's french accent and his inability to speak english very well will forever hurt his chances. PPC also has no party constitution, by now that's unacceptable. Due to this, many party members and former candidates have abandoned the party. So the party already has a horrible reputation amongst its own voters/candidates.

The more people are vaccinated, the quicker they will make 2nd class citizens of those who refuse the vaccine. Plus they are already saying masks and social distancing are still required after the vaccines are rolled out.

I agree but if he doesn't actually believe this and is just saying shit to get elected, then that proves what type of PM he would be. We're tired of the entire political class, I'd rather have a blunt honest politician that risks losing than someone who stands for nothing.

Yeah I haven't really seen any real support for Proud boys here. Obviously there are some people who point out the hypocrisy of the left with antifa. I doubt anyone here has any legit connection to a proud boys chapter.

They're going to say Omega Canada is 'proud boys associated' or 'adjacent'. All it will take is for their next false flag to have an internet history of visiting Omega Canada.

And Max should shoulder the blame for that. CPC sucks and PPC was a chance at creating something new, but Max appears to have botched it. PPC still is a better option in terms of platform, but you're right they will never have a chance.

I told various people that forcing kids in school to wear masks was child abuse, most people thought I was hyperbolic. Even had a few conservative buddies think it wasn't abusive.

The guy is an actor. I mean that literally, it was revealed through his social media that he is an actor. Regardless of all the claims on what the Q movement is about, shamanism is not related to Qanon at all.

Look into O'toole's campaign chair, that tells you all you need to know.

No I think the globalists plan to use this for as long as possible to usher in more control and their great reset. Media will say will Biden is improving things, and keep patting him on the back.

Anons fought valiantly. Trump won the election but it was stolen from him. What can we do about that? Obviously not much. People spread the word but all the contingencies failed. Supreme court, state legislatures, Mike Pence, all failed. Only option left was Trump taking drastic military action but I imagine he thought it was too extreme of an action even though he did have justification and legality to do so. Q supporters are going to take a lot of heat for a while, but those who hate on it can't see all the good that came out of the movement, such as waking people up, fighting the MSM on social media, exposing the lies and the elites. Anyone who followed Q knows Trump did a lot to flirt with the Q movement that made 'Q' legitimate in the eyes of many. Anyone who denies that is either unaware or lying, even the MSM made attack articles saying Trump is propping up Q by retweeting blatant Q accounts and famous Q phrases. For fucks sake, Trump himself tweeted out the meme "nothing can stop what is coming". Trump could have put an end to Q at any moment but didn't. So go ahead and hate on Q, and the movement, but lay blame to Trump who countless times did stuff that made people believe it to be true. One example is Trump and Q posting at the exact same time many times, I believe over 50 times now. Clearly Trump failed, thus Q failed. It's very possible Q was never a full on LARP but the fact remains that the Q plan ultimately failed in the end. Would it even be surprising if Trump or someone close to him wanted to create a grassroots movement to combat the MSM and keep his supporters from getting demoralized (thus they show up to vote in 2020)?

Ironically only someone like Sloan could possibly save the PPC. Max's french accent doesn't sell, Sloan would be a good leader to replace Max. Sadly I feel Max has too big of an ego to allow Sloan to become leader.

This is extremely weak leadership. O'toole started out okay once becoming leader but has stumbled tremendously since. He's essentially attacked his own base, and now is booting out the guy who got 4th in leadership race who actually did way better than expected. If he thinks the media will treat him like Trudeau now, he's insane. This wins over nobody and demoralizes his own base of support.

O'toole has set a dangerous standard, now every donation toward every MP is up for scrutiny. Surely what comes next is "a Trump supporter donated to this MP!". O'toole fell right into the trap here.

It's far right to think Sloan's team had no idea who the fuck Paul Fromm is? 99% of Canadians never heard of the guy.

Yep nobody knows him, just like with Scheer. Instead of rallying his base, and trying to win non-voters like Trump did in 2016, he has picked the strategy of trying to win over leftists. It won't work,, the media is too entrenched, it's unlikely a Trudeau voter is going to say "I've had enough of this guy I'll vote O'toole instead!". Trudeau has had multiple scandals, and still won in 2019.
