Comments calling out Global News for lying:
Omg, they can’t even translate simple phrase correctly he said “one usually blames others for what he is himself guilty of”
Putin does not say “it takes one to know one” that’s literally a mistranslation. What he said is a kids saying that I can roughly translate as: “If one calls people names, those names best apply to themselves”
The idiom that Putin used is not translated correctly. A closer translation would be: "You really are whatever you call others" - "Кто как обзывается, тот так и называется"
"it takes one to know one" this is such a poor and manipulative translation. What he really said, and I'm quoting the Russian word for word: "The one and how the one insults, is the one who's naming/insulting himself". But ah no biggie, because no one's going to pay attention to that
“It takes one to know one” (or the similar one “pot meet kettle”) may be decent idiomatic translation that sounds better, but is not really what Putin said and it is subtly misleading. A better translation, though not idiomatic, is a little different but with entirely different meaning: “what one calls out is how one is”. The difference is subtle yet huge. The first idiomatic translation implies that both are one and the same. But the proper translation deals with projection, meaning that only the one who calls it is the way he calls it.
I remember when I was younger and much more simple-minded, the first time I watched Michael Moore's Sicko he was talking about Norway and other Nordic countries being socialist utopias. I started searching for how to immigrate to Norway. Let's just say it was a short-lived dream.
Too bad with those neck tattoos the majority of the population in this country will never take this guy seriously no matter how good his message is. Just remember this, there are Canadians who unironically voted Trudeau in 2015 for his hair. And the boomers who support Scheer unironically for his "resting pleasant face".
Just checked em. I can confirm that the third doctor is a legit doctor with reviews going all the way back to 2007. Here is her ratemd profile: https://www.ratemds.com/doctor-ratings/54268/Dr-Caroline-Turek-Brooklin-ON.html?page=5
At least normies are talking about side effects, as long as you make a disclaimer "I'm not anti-vaxxer", you can avoid a ban from mod. Search "periods" on the r/covidvaccinated sub https://www.reddit.com/r/CovidVaccinated/search?q=period&restrict_sr=1
Nevermind, found a better one: https://omegacanada.win/p/12hkOzHPy0/
I feel like the numbers are skewed towards nursing and teaching since they are already female dominated fields. If you look at total numbers, of course you're going to pick those two. But what about the percentage relative to the total number of women?
Someone already said lawyers, I think that's a good one. I'm going to throw in another answer to think about. Engineering/Computer Science. Imagine being in a career with mostly beta men. Starting from freshmen college, you never have to worry about dealing with homework or projects. There's always a simp available at your every beck and call. You could party and fuck as many dudes as you want throughout your 4-year degree and still pass with flying colours. Even if you aren't a whore, imagine what that does to your ego. Engineering women have a hyper-inflated sense of self worth that other women just don't have.
my favorite meme, it never gets old
