Yup, it's a common feature in countries and cultures that are permanently poor. One family member starts making some money, and that persons siblings, half siblings, first to eighth cousins, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all show up with their hands out and guilt that person into sharing their new "wealth". Investment is not something that's possible. Add to the fact that we shower these countries in aid, removing any incentive to do, well, anything productive, and you get a perfect storm of complacency and permanently being stuck.
We could solve world hunger and poverty if every country cut all foreign aid to Africa, South America, the middle East and Asia, and then waited 50 years. Let them sustain themselves, theyre capable of it, but they need to break free of the system they're trapped in now. Same with our own countries - end permanent welfare, end financial incentives to divorce or have a child out of wedlock, and wait a generation. That would end an unbelievable amount of issues, but it's not a pretty solution so people don't like it.
It is hard to imagine, but that's the result of the left getting their way for decades on how to educate people. The modern negro is consistently told he is incapable of achieving anything, all because of white people and their hatred and oppression. Imagine what that would do to anyone's self worth.
People like Booker T are not even taught about in schools any more. It doesn't fit their narrative. I doubt any more than 1% of blacks know who he is.
"unprovoked"
It wasn't unprovoked, that man has been brainwashed his entire life that he's a victim of white people, that all white people have it better than him, that they're oppressing him, that they want to put him in chains. When you consider the media and cultural bullshit that's being pushed right now, it makes perfect sense for white people to get "randomly" attacked - according to critical race theorists, white people have already thrown the first punch, all the time.
That's been the unspoken agreement between Canada and the US for decades. Canada does not need to be a global military superpower. It can't be that. The job of Canada's military is to be able to prevent an invading force from getting through Canada to reach the US.
There's only one reason an invader would be looking at Canada - to get through it to an unsecured US border. They aren't interested in Canada itself.
Good politicians are able to recognize this geopolitical position. Bad ones are not. If we cannot hold our own against an invasion, then suddenly the eye of the US military planners are turned north, and that is something we do not want.
It's a self defense strategy - the US is an ally, and that's something we cannot take for granted - but we do. That will not be the case forever if we show that we are incapable of fulfilling our ONE JOB that actually matters to US military think tanks - not being a doormat. This is why the people who think Canada shouldn't have a military at all, and should abolish it are absolute retards. We don't need a big enough military to hold off a US invasion, we just need one good enough to bog down any invading force that wants to get to the real target.
If his dad is 40 and served in every war since Vietnam, then he was 3 when he stormed Grenada, 9 when he invaded Panama, at 10 he was fighting in the sands of Desert Storm, running through the streets of Mogadishu trying to rescue the Black Hawk Down pilots at 13, and 14 when he landed in Haiti. Then at 19 served in Kosovo, after which he served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. And that's not to mention all the smaller engagements that either didn't include Rangers or I didn't think were worth mentioning.
Truly an impressive man!
Holy fuck there's so much retarded shit in there. You were given 17 grand for absolute nothing, where the fuck did it all go? Smoothies, apparently.
Also, why is that woman complaining about sex work? I thought sex workers were all stunning and brave?
People who are permanently poor are permanently poor because they suck with money. That's a fact, and this article is clearly showcasing that in all of its truth.
These people have no excuse for not getting a fucking job. Alright, homeless Steve, you could afford a room for a year because of the money, your excuses for not being able to work are gone. You couldn't find a single minimum wage job in a fucking YEAR?
Not a single mention of ANY of these people getting the money and then going and finding employment. They have all the excuses in the world as to why they can't work, those excuses disappear when they get the money, they blow it on stupid shit and STILL DON'T GET A JOB, then act shocked when the money disappears and they're back when they started. Fuck 'em.
Wow, totally unjustified, he didn't warn him 3 times to drop the knife and then given 3 warnings that he was about to shoot, also never tasered his hand or pepper sprayed his feet, he never even TRIED calling a social worker to defuse the situation before shooting, he didn't even calmly give his name and badge number to the man, and he never politely asked the man if he is suffering from mental illness and to try to find him a safe space. Nothing wrong with being a conspiracy theorist when there are actual conspiracies being enacted, right now
People have their thinking ass backwards, they believe the conspiracy theory that the entirety of all law enforcement in the country is systematically exterminating black people, but also believe that law enforcement did absolutely nothing wrong at Waco and Ruby Ridge and you're clearly a conspiracy theorist if you think otherwise
The island is fucked. Everywhere you go you're surrounded by people with a smug sense of superiority over everyone else (even more so than the rest of Canada, somehow) who believe they're enlightened children of god because they live on an island. Homelessness and drug abuse are rampant no matter where you go.
If it wasn't a pretty place for tourists to go and Victoria wasn't the capital, the place would be on economic suicide watch because forestry and fishing are racist or whatever.
No, first it was don't wear a mask, they don't work and you were ridiculed for suggesting it. Then they did a 180 and said you must wear a mask, and you were told you were a literal murderer if you didn't.
This whole fucking mask thing is proof to anyone who hasn't drank the Kool-Aid the power of doublethink
