No kidding. Besides, can one really throw in the towel if a) they were never on the court to begin with and b) they never broke a sweat?

My pleasure. The only downside of the virtual version, is half the book is the critically important and interesting endnotes (still present in the PDF), but flipping back and forth is a pain. I highly recommend the 'Outlook' chapter and his note on the Portland Declaration. A good follow-up that updates this investigation is Stephen R.C. Hick's "Explaining Post-Modernism", which explains why the murderous left believes what it believes circa 2010s-to-present. The audiobook for that one is free and on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQcNjHNXnEE (The last two hours are the most important IMHO).

A critical point made in the book. Gwyn explains the ubiquity of drink (you would tip your cabby in shots), but also touches on the sickness John A's wife suffered from and how greatly it affected him, but not his results.

I was taking the piss, but WASPs tended not to group Ulstermen and orange Irish in with Catholic Irish. There, the bigotry on Douglas' part was more cultural than ethnic.

Marxism: responsible for 128 million deaths in the 20th Century.

John A. MacDonald: responsible for cohering disparate elements into a civilized country and preventing American annexation.

Symbols representing the former allowed everywhere. Statues of the latter are verboten. Real headscratcher, this one.

Disagree. Lot of conservative parishes throughout Canada. The problem is less theological or religious and more cultural. For instance, the Conservatives (i.e. Tories) used to be trenchantly anti-Catholic WASPs, so Irish and Italian Catholics would vote in Liberals. Overtime they became partisan, even though the Liberal party became the party of cutting of boys cocks, abortion, euthanasia, anti-Christian bigotry, etc. The key is waking people up. Education would normally be the best route, but the Catholic school board has been corrupted by a generation of Alinskyite / Marcusian apostates.

Go on LinkedIn or Indeed. Apply for skilled jobs and get them to sponsor your visa. If you don't have a post-graduate degree or unique skills, take some online courses and up your game.

Nonsense. All of the top Hiterlians recognized they were advancing identitarian socialism.

If you don't feel like reading Leddihn's phenomenal book, I've penned a piece on the Leftism of the alt-right that might ruffle your feathers: https://www.memeamericagifagain.com/post/kuehnelt-leddihn-revisited-the-leftism-of-the-alt-right

Function of identity politics where statists are concerned is just this: divide and conquer; preclude the working class from thinking about how the ruling elites are destroying their prospects. Conservative populism is the route forward.

Ryan Long's stuff is great. (I haven't given the podcast a chance, but the skits are hilarious.)

Wait until you see the receipt for warehousing all those boomers who didn't save up, refused to have kids, and need to be kept alive by the state.
