I was gonna say, this is like Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future. And it appeals to idealistic tweens and teenagers. Then we grow up and learn about human nature, that strong fences make good neighbors, and we learn about the types of deranged minds that would impose systems like this on the world. We learn that there are always a small handful of people at the top who do whatever they want regardless of the law, and have a pathological need to dominate others.
Then you're terribly short sighted. There is poverty because industry buys the leadership of communities on all levels from the municipal to the national, and ensures that the most corruptible, the least likely to uplift the communities they represent, are elected. Industry keeps all the wealth floating at the top for the privileged to skim off.
Whole continents are impoverished because of this system. Was the whole world a utopia before the industrial revolution? Of course not. The industrial revolution had the potential to uplift the whole world. But it was driven by a small handful of entrepreneurs. And it was hijacked by ultra rich globalists, who happened to be "white."
Are you honestly going to tell me that you think Bubba from Alabama who weighs 400 pounds and has a misspelled tattoo of his ex-girlfriend's name across his chest is better than, say, the Persian Avicenna, the Father of Early Modern Medicine, and that he is better because of the colour of his skin? They want two columns. Column A is people who wear the mask and enforce it on others. Column B is people who refuse to wear the mask and turn on their fellow citizens for enforcing it.
