It's fully open, all restrictions will be removed for the general population.

There are still some restrictions for hospitals and care facilities. I wanted to make sure the title was totally accurate.

It'll be interesting to see if they can keep that momentum up or if they get spooked and close things back down again.

Apologies for the CBC link, for those of you who draw issues with that sort of thing.

When they hit 3.5% I'm sure the homo jokes will come out.

Has anyone else watched "Harrison Bergeron" starring Sean Astin?

CBC couldn't care less about internet downvotes. 99% of normies watch CBC on the television and don't bother hearing about criticism of it because they still think the media reports facts.

What they want you to think it means: governments need to be prevented from running roughshod over the charter!

What they actually mean: judges need to have absolute power and declare anything they want unconstitutional (read: any remaining conservative positions!)

Canada Day is already commemorated by the federal government as a day of shame, and a lot of Canadians don't even see themselves as Canadian (immigrants, children of immigrants, and depending on how ghettoized the second generation is, even third generation.) If they cancelled Canada Day, a lot of people wouldn't even notice.

Of course, taking away Canada Day would mean politicians would have no excuse to skip the Pride parades.

You think it's hard to find forums like this now? Just wait until they pass that online hate measure.

I see that video a bit differently. To me it looks like Trudeau is the last world leader who still thinks he has to socially distance.

A cease and desist letter? Just sue. Unless of course you know you're in the wrong.

It's already being taught, in case you're wondering.

NCR = not criminally responsible, basically a "not guilty by reason of insanity."

They want him fully guilty because of racism. They will ensure that verdict happens.

He probably is. The more we know about him, the more it sounds that way.

No way in hell they'll let him get away with NCR though.

What are you talking about? Gender neutral bathrooms wouldn't be a third bathroom. Add urinals to a girls' bathroom and tampon dispensers to a boys' bathroom, bingo bango bongo, gender neutral.

I remember when that pension was so flush with cash it literally owned the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Just wait until all the units are bought up by Chinese nationals who don't live in Canada.

Found a city? Yes. (Although depending where it is, you'd probably have to create a treaty with Indigenous people or some shit.)

Run like a private residence? Not so much. Do you remember when Doug Ford, as premier of Ontario, cut Toronto city council in half to 22? The media said they didn't like it but the law said that Ford was acting within his power as premier, and indeed, if he dissolved the city of Toronto, that would also be in his power. So you could try, but if you pushed too many buttons, the premier would say the game was over and take it back.
