I moved to AB from the east coast many years ago due to government mismanagement and lack of employment opportunities. I grew up in an area where I was isolated for half of the year. I know a lot of hardy, based, survivalist people from there, people who cut their own wood, mill their own lumber, and build their own houses, people who hunt, fish, and garden for most of their food.

These are places where government doesn't usually spend much time in, other than coming by once every four years to beg for your vote. Most people there think government folks are full of shit and would rather they stay out of their lives, because when they get involved they make incoherent laws around fishing and hunting.

NL hasn't taken equalization payments in the last ten years, but the government is bankrupt due to financial mismanagement and lack of a stable industry. To most NL'ers outside of St John's, Ottawa seems like another planet, hell St. John's seems like another planet.

If you want to lead the way I am in brother. The mistakes we need to avoid are anger, blame, resistance narratives, or anything that would put us into a far right category, or anything that uses far left language.

People are more amenable to beliefs that are accessible and relevant to their own lives. People are not good with broad ideological thinking because the media has programmed them to think that they believe things in practice that they do not believe in principle.

If we can organize as a specific local social support group that values relations in our community and our families and our schools, then people can see that there is a voice there for them. Red Deer First. Kenora First. Brandon First.

If we organize in this way, when things happen at a national or global scale that have deleterious effects in our local communities and families, then we've already organized as alternative to that event or that issue by being Red Deer First.

Being reactionary is a mistake and it will always drive people away because people will always feel like their lives are stable enough and this radical group is departing too far from the mainstream that it will damage my reputation or social status.

There won't be any resistance or backpedaling from any of this shit until enough people have experienced first hand the destructive qualities of leftism in their own lives. People do not have principles, and they frequently claim to have beliefs about the world in practice they do not have in principle, they cannot think clearly and do not grasp the dissonance.

When it comes for them, they won't know how or why it's happening, and they won't be able to put two and two together. If we ever get to far that the military boot is on their neck they will still be confused, they will think it is a mistake, a misunderstanding. Their worldview will fall apart, because they will not be able to follow the line from the subversion of western values to the destruction of our society and nation.

Depending on how completely brainwashed your family and friends are, your job is to provide answers for their quandaries when they have a moment of self reflection. Say, why is my husband unemployed, he can't get his job back in the oil field and we're struggling to pay bills. Trump put America first, but Joe Biden cancelled Keystone on his first day, so now half of my families' jobs are withering away.

I haven't given that white hating company a dime since "dear white people." Dear Netflix, fuck yourselves.

I am at the point of thinking that we've taken for granted so much of what was fought for and sacrificed for that we deserve to see it go. Only when weak men have brought on hard times long enough to create hard men, that hard men will be able to make good times again.

Losing respect? Why did you ever have it? Just another CPC milquetoast "conservative."

Trudeau gets another term regardless, O'Toole doesn't have a chance in hell, nobody cares about him because he's an empty suit that doesn't stand for anything. It's a crime to be actually conservative in this country.

They're fucked over now man and they don't see it because they're fucking idiots who were educated by our leftist teachers.

I'm in my 30s and I just haven't watched a tv show in year. I just am revolted by it, the mindless entertainment, the stereotypes of men, the silly oversimple storylines. I should watch some of those old classics, people were just more adult and had serious opinions about things. I have listened to more Sinatra lately for the same reason.

Both sides ave turned against the police as well. I remember Occupy Wallstreet, the wave of the left raised up an crested, and probably rightened a good few elite types who resolved to never let grassroots organization ever get close to them again.

Occupy fizzed out into aimless incoherence, but for a moment it captured the frustration and anger the left had toward the establishment, it failed to coalesce into a meaningful and coordinated movement.

When the left reemerged I think the elites worked hard to direct the energy and focus of the movement for their own use, and successfully avoided being the focus of the anger and violence.

Now the right wing has risen, and it has yet to have its OWS moment, God forbid, its BLM moment. Like you, I believe they have more in common than not. I tell this to my lefty friends all the time, I hate the conservatives, I hate the republicans, I want freedom and the government to leave me alone, underneath it all, that's what most people want.

Your comment really hit me. Evil is truly rampant in this world. My parents always wanted me to be in the world but not of the world. I indulged myself through college like everyone else, but I still had shame and humiliation when I took it too far.

My life is a struggle to walk with God, to resist the urge to sin, to repent when I have sinned. It helps give me clarity about where I stand, and what I think. It helps keep me on the narrow path, not the wide one.

I saw the photos of the young men who are part of Antifa and BLM that spearheaded the siege of the Capitol. Travelling across the country, assuming the identity and donning the garb of a Trump supporter, and fronting the effort to siege the Capitol in order to help the evil doers frame the good and peaceful patriots, is an evil thing to do.

Dear God I hope this is true. My close friends and I today were glued to the live steams since the President have his speech. After all that happened, it looks really bad for everyone involved. I know optics don't matter at this point, but if the fabric of society was frayed before, it's torn in half now.

Who knows what happens after this? I lost some hope today, it was exhausting just coming to terms with all of it. A part of me thinks Trump must have expected this, he couldn't have expected anything else to happen. Was this part of the plan? Or is there no plan at all? Only time will tell, for now we have to wait.

Yeah he's right, and good on him for saying it. But what is he going to do about it? What is anyone going to do now? Cruz really has nothing to lose by telling the truth when the msm won't cover it, when half the country doesn't hear him, when they've already gotten away with what they've done?

Oh I just watched a few videos on postmillennial, exciting, I hope they break through, its all or nothing now, it's justice today or corruption forever.

2
drinkboxwaterbottles 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's not under siege if tens of thousands of people show up and just stand around just generally being in support of Trump, then go home again. Today is the last chance, it is all or nothing. If nothing is done today, then it is over.

I've barely been posting here for a couple of weeks and I am already into it with a mod over the use of words.

Look at the meltdown in this thread. I am being accusing of lying, being caught, and having an alt.

Ham, I didn't accuse you of removing my comment, I said it wasn't in the thread, it wasn't there hours later, and so then I deleted it.

You already admitted in your response to me that posts containing certain words are automodded.

What are you some kind of fucking detective? "You've been caught red handed." You're on a tirade.

1
drinkboxwaterbottles 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm serious, I made a comment in that thread, it was visible in my account, but not on the thread. I checked hours later, it was still not there. Out of frustration I deleted it.

You can participate here in good faith, or you can keep accusing me of lying and posting with an alt. You're seeing ghosts bud. The only thing pathetic on this forum are your daily meltdowns.

1
drinkboxwaterbottles 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then deal with the accounts spamming, don't automod words, once you do that, the same troublemaker can just choose to spam any word at all everywhere and then you'd be forced to automod that.

drinkboxwaterbottles 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bud, I am not going to keep arguing with the mod of a barely functioning forum. There is a reason why you're unpopular here.

Yes I did in fact make a comment, and no it was not visible, and yes I did delete it.

No I don't have another alt you paranoid dumbass, I don't have time to spend on a forum all day pestering retarded moderators.
