Globalist plot? Loyalist revenge? Both? Toronto is the center of anti-Americanism, after all. Their fee-fees must still be hurt over having to pick up sticks from NYC and schlep it up to Upper Canada.

I heard the military has a minivan on standby for when all 6 of those Canadians want to be evacuated.

The Lord is in control, but some days I'm ashamed to say I get a little impatient.

Only white people can afford real Scotch tape; see how hard he had to work to pull that sucker off? His poor fingees!

Interesting, but the caveat for your "84% of A and AB" people requiring a ventilator is that this is amongst those that are already critically ill, which is a tiny fraction of those who get the wuflu. Hundreds of thousands of people with A and AB may have been symptomless or have had mild symptoms, so I don't think we can act like blood type is the main factor here.

We both want the government to fuck off and leave us alone. That's enough common ground for me.

I think both equally apply.

Here's the original Federalist article comparing several states' and countries' case counts pre and post mask mandates. Long story short: masks don't fucking work:

Sickening. Need a redoubt where it's possible to grow food but still cold enough to discourage the diversity imports. Northern prairies may be salvageable. Vancouver Island isn't that diverse either but space and arable land are limited.

Never have; haven't been asked to leave a store or other public place yet (Ont). I just tell them I'm exempt, and all their opposition melts away. Best Jedi mind trick ever.

Most minimum wage workers aren't paid enough to care. Plus I think most people know on some level that the virus really isn't dangerous, given how many people I see pulling masks down to eat their ice cream cone while walking around at Costco or talking on their phone while walking through the grocery store aisles. They don't fear the virus; they fear getting in trouble.

On the off chance someone gives me grief, fuck 'em. Plenty of other stores that want my business.

Property requirement to vote would solve a lot of problems, me thinks. Minimum value of $150,000, and only 1 person can be the designated voter for a jointly held property. Max 1 vote per person per jurisdiction (i.e. owning property in 2 different cities in 2 different provinces gets you 2 municipal votes, 2 provincial votes, but only 1 federal vote).

I can handle being dismissed or shamed as long as they leave me and the people I care about alone. It's when they try to infringe on freedom of religion and conscience, and/or force us to take vaccines for a fake pandemic that I have a problem. Then we need strength in numbers. A few dozen natives shut down our rail network, and I think we're more numerous than they are.

Welp, at least we know the new recruits will be too busy kneeling in solidarity with BLM to try and herd us into concentration camps.

Agreed, but just because 90% of the population is content to collect $2K a month to binge Netflix while under house arrest doesn't mean the 10% who value liberty give up.

And that's my question: is 10% non-compliance enough to make gov't back off?

3
fortisetliber 3 points ago +3 / -0

What percentage of the population do you think needs to stand up and say "Fuck No" before they have to back down? 10%? 20%? Maybe less? The Canadian military ain't exactly huge...

A glimmer of common sense? I'll pray that it lasts, but the man has not given me many reasons to be optimistic.

What does it say about society when the government has become our biggest collective problem?

Hope they use something better than insecticide when they try to off us.

I respect you a lot for running this site, but do you honestly think the CPC are "conservative" in any meaningful sense anymore? I can't be bothered to feel sorry for them. Bernier may be a spoiler and a sore-loser, but I wouldn't vote for the CPC anymore regardless.

'Fraid this would happen. The Globalists fucking dial up a spike in "cases" when they want to push their authoritarian agenda that little bit further.

They held off during BC's election in case any of their supporters decided to grow a pair and tell the NDP to fuck off as a thank you for the restrictions. Don't have to worry about what the cattle think now though!

3
fortisetliber 3 points ago +3 / -0

Agreed, but let's hope their majority doesn't embolden them to start taking a page out of Ontario and Quebec's playbook (with the only plays in those books being "masks" and "lockdown").

While I appreciate those who serve, the large authoritarian streak our governments have shown has made me grateful (for once) to have a comparatively weak military and police forces.
