I voted for the person who can DEFEAT TRUDEAU and the Liberals in an election. To think a leader makes all decisions without advisors is foolish. We are currently governed by a nitwit completely controlled by backroom advisors.

I own 2 small businesses in Ontario with a combined 27 full time employees...some in the firearms industry.

I have a 1 year old grandson that is inheriting a fvckload of debt.

The Liberal party has absolutely nothing in terms of policy to offer that is positive for my family nor myself for any sort of future.

So.....if an election is called....the CDN election will fall right around the same time as the US election.

As a large portion of Canadians suffer from TDS......campaigning on the anti-Trump platform could work in the Libs favour.

Take it a step further.....if the Cdn election is shortly after the US election, a Trump victory could give the Libs the last minute bump they need in the urban ridings.

Or they have definitive evidence of him doing something illegal....

I'm a few years ahead of you on a similar path.

Still own a business and properties in Canada, but now live in Central America half the year (let me know if you want more detail on how I do that).....2020 has shown me that I want to be in Canada even less now, and hold way less $CAD.

I use Toronto based KnightsbridgeFX to convert CAD to USD when in larger amounts. I have a USD account at a Canadian bank I park money in until I need it.

I fear the same currency devaluation that you do. Not interested in investing any more money in Canada, other than MAYBE a decent investment RE deal that may cross my path.

If you are moving abroad.....MAKE SURE that the new country you choose to reside in does NOT tax your income earned outside the country.

I'm in my early 40's. My wife has never been happier since we started this endeavor in 2016, she doesn't want to come back to Canada at all.

They did this last election cycle.....get the criticism of the Libs out of the way early and well before the election campaign period when average Cdn's are actually watching - so they can say they provided balanced coverage.
