Don't be a typical dumb fuck Canadian that basis it's economic health off the CAD/USD. The USD is fucking collapsing right now. Look at the CAD compared to notorious LT stores of value like gold, silver, or cryptocurrency.

Right, like outside of Canada, into one of the other 200 countries, all of which offer a better life than Canada in the future.

If you believe economic health is entirely based on single indicators, then sure, believe that.

Almost everyone coming now is here purely for the gibs. The old "come to Canada, work balls off, get rich, then relax" motto is long replaced with "come to Canada have double digit families, make more than 98% of Canadians living on benefits". IF the MSM ever actually covered this, the tide would turn fast.

Beat me to it. If they were to make a chart of social stigma and homosexuality, it would have the same correlates. I think it's probably somewhere between the gen x and millennial range. I bet if you cut up millennials into early or late, you'd see a massive divergence as well. It went from being a guaranteed ticket to bullying to a guaranteed protection from bullying, allowing you to ruin the lives of people that bully you, and generally produces social benefits. You get to join the ever growing victim class, which is everyone that isn't a non-disabled straight white male.

Yes. The BC left Alberta right stereotype is complete nonsense. Everywhere 100km+ outside of Vancouver, and the island, is conservative as fuck in BC. They are far more conservative than Calgary and much more so than Edmonton. Prince George is mostly white and native. In fact, that's most of northern BC. Kelowna is another exception that stands out. Rural Alberta, on the other hand, is more conservative than any of the above. They are the true blue in Canada. Mostly hard working farmers.

Lawyer here. We had a handful of international students at my law school a few years back, and for the most part, they were noticeably lower quality. Most of it is language issues, as I wouldn't be able to practice law in mandarin.

I fucked up and read the Twitter comments. Don't worry guys, UBI doesn't cause inflation, it only increases GDP while not actually producing more.

In other news, Zimbabwae has the world's highest GDP, and is therefore the richest country in the world.

Step 1: move over any CAD assets you have to a better currency. Don't own CAD. Step 2: Take out as much CAD debt as possible. This is easy in today's times. Step 3: Buy non-canadian assets, cryptocurrency, and bullion with your worthless CAD before it becomes worthless. Step 4: Profit while the country burns.

I only know of one girl in my entire life that I knew 100% for a fact was an escort, and she is currently a nurse. No word of a lie. She was in school while escorting though.

Wong acknowledges that many Asian Americans are rightfully angry and grieving right now, bemoaning what they see as inaction with regards to these assaults. But she points out that APEN, as well as other Oakland-based organizations, like Asian Health Services and East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation, have been hard at work for years trying to solve unemployment, lack of mental health resources, and other problems that create the conditions for violent crime. “We are here serving our communities every day — and we need more resources.”

Since the problems that engender crime stem from white supremacy, the solution isn’t to implement a white supremacist policing system — it’s to destroy the white supremacy that endangers all BIPOC. These problems also include the gentrification in the San Francisco Bay Area that continues to further marginalize and displace BIPOC, as well as the model minority myth, or the belief that all Asian Americans are successful because we work hard and stay in line, wielded to deny the systemic oppression of other communities of color and pit us against each other, explains Kalaya’an Mendoza, a Filipinx American activist and co-founder of Across Frontlines.

**“If we want to fight for justice, if we want to fight for true safety, then we need to start by addressing the problem at its root cause, which is white supremacy and capitalism,” **he says. We need to redirect our blame from other marginalized people to the billionaires and corporations complicit in our oppression. “Do we get angry with a person from a displaced or marginalized community for inhabiting the violence that has been inflicted upon them, or do we get angry with those who have upheld the system of violence and oppression?”

"Do we get angry at the person that killed my grandma? No. They are black and not responsible for their actions. Blame whitey"
