More sad proof that the voters will reward governments that are heavy handed in covid restrictions. Trudeau is probably looking at this NDP election with optimism for a federal election.

CCP wins in hong couver again!
Agreed, but let's hope their majority doesn't embolden them to start taking a page out of Ontario and Quebec's playbook (with the only plays in those books being "masks" and "lockdown").
Canadians are cucked to be voting for more of this.
If we get 4 more years of Trudeau and Horgan (we now know we will in Horgan's case), there will be so much cultural enrichment that the people will wake the fuck up eventually. Trudeau will be forced to retire like Chretien and McGuinty did before their terms are even up.
My parents immigrated here from Europe. I am not a Canadian by choice. I was born here. But even if I get my EU passport and "go back to Europe" if I don't like it, Europe is cucked as fuck too right now. My parents' native Portugal is probably even more locked down right now than Toronto as Portugal has over 3x the cases of Ontario with less population.
In the United States, there is at least some sort of understanding there of the importance of liberty. Live Free or Die is an American concept. And even then their constitution is Swiss cheese at this point. There is way too much government over-reach even when the Republicans are in power.
People are so quick to trade away their liberty for safety from a pussy ass virus that doesn't even kill a lot of elderly people with pre-existing conditions. And they're willing to destroy the economy and destroy many lives in the process too. Most elderly people with pre-existing conditions will only experience mild symptoms, let alone end up in the hospital (especially ICU) or die.
My dad fled Salazar Portugal to Canada for liberdade. My boomer dad wants the country to lockdown because he's terrified of catching the coronavirus even though the case fatality rate for men in their 70s is very low right now (because of all the testing they do now and with the virus mutating to be weaker).
The irony. It's so funny how the population is so willing to trade away liberty for safety. He is a homebody himself and old anyways so his life hasn't been negatively impacted much by the lockdowns. So he has a "fuck you, got mine" mentality, "you're all gonna lock down for my sake."
I almost forgot that I have to vote tomorrow here in Saskatchewan.
But but I thought we weren't going to know for 2 weeks If half pop voted by mail, how can most races be called?
For example Kamloops South Thompson last election 28,000 voted
This election 18,200 counted in 97/98 polls reported
Got to assume 10,000 more votes to count in mail in.
Winner only won by 4,000 votes.
Are we just going to be told that's it, we're all done counting NDP won?
They make these calculations based on polling and historical data. But we were definitely told that mail ins would delay results so it is somewhat odd.
Easy enough to do in ridings that are held, how can you tell with 1/3 or more the vote left to count that a riding has flipped. Most swing ridings flip by very small percentages, sometimes only a few votes between winner and loser
True, I think it's because NDP crushed Liberals overall in popular vote.
Do I detect an aroma of fish?
