Depends on your skill set. Banking, legal, teaching, logistics, retail, hospitality, etc. There is a lot of demand for expertise in many fields. The primary language for expats is English. Depending on which country you want to settle in knowing local languages may help. Singapore, Malaysia and The Philippines conduct the bulk of their business in English. Indonesia less so but Indonesian is not a difficult language. Thailand and Vietnam would generally require a little more knowledge of Thai or Vietnamese. That said I have known quite a few successful expats in Jakarta, Bangkok and HCM City who spoke primarily English.
Start talking to people who have lived there or live there. It’s currently tougher to move because of Covid, but this will pass. I’m currently relocating from Singapore to Bali, and it’s been a challenge because of travel restrictions. It’s also been a challenge because I’ve been out of Singapore since July and my wife is handling the move. If you haven’t been to the region take a trip when when the shit settles. It’s really an interesting part of the world. Lots of Canadians there too, and you can play hockey in many cities there.
I feel your pain and considering a move in future. For the past 8 months, I have had to fill out a health questionnaire to get a haircut! Why? I follow the mask mandate, sterilize my hands upon entry into the salon so why would I be at risk if this protocol is so effective? There are more questions every time I go but I noticed latest new one was optional re covid test result because yes THIS IS/SHOULD BE PROTECTED PERSONAL HEALTH INFO BY LAW! So why would it be mandatory to show at airport to a stranger of all people!!?
Having lived/traveled there as well there are a lot of good choices once you jump through the COVID restriction hoops to get into one of those countries though.

Stay away from China if you can. French Polynesia looks nice.
And how has this website turned on censorship? What does that mean?
You know, there are french speaking towns in Saskatchewan.
For now, until they get 'enriched'
No one cares about these French towns in Saskatchewan. They all have like 300 to 500 people in it and are dying out.

Out before the vaccine passports. Godspeed.
Stay away from the bat soup, I hear it’s no good for you
Bye Felicia!

Trump isn't getting anything now. He has failed at every attempt to overturn this. Not a damn thing this vague Q has suggested has ever come true.
