Fenian or Orange Irish?
Really though, good to know I’m here because Douglas didn’t go on an Irish sterilization spree.
I'm Orange Irish and my AncestryDNA came up almost exclusively Irish.
I'm sure there were a lot of colonizers but don't underestimate the number of Irish converts.
I was taking the piss, but WASPs tended not to group Ulstermen and orange Irish in with Catholic Irish. There, the bigotry on Douglas' part was more cultural than ethnic.
