Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization's revised guidelines, the new guidance calls for the Pfizer-BioNTech offering due to "Lower reported cases of myocarditis/pericarditis ... compared to Moderna Spikevax."
What myocarditis/pericarditis? This is a conspiracy theory. The vaccines are safe, bigots. Take your poison and shut up.
There have been 19 deaths in children. They don't publish data on the number of those that were already on the verge of death.
This has been identified as a 0.002% risk, for most healthy kids the risk would of course be much much lower.
Now they're talking about vaccinating babies. And we have people defending this as moral.
A society that uses little innocent children as shields for geriatric adults is sick and perverse beyond words.
According to Figure 7 on this page https://health-infobase.canada.ca/covid-19/epidemiological-summary-covid-19-cases.html 8 children under 12 and 8 children 12 to 19 have died of covid in Canada as of December 3, 2021. I agree it's safe to assume most or all of them were vulnerable, but not necessarily "on the verge of death".
Currently "Outbreaks of COVID-19 in Ontario’s elementary schools are at the highest point in the pandemic, surpassing the third-wave peak when skyrocketing cases forced schools across the province to pivot to online learning after the April spring break.
The province on Tuesday [Dec 7 2021] reported 219 active COVID outbreaks in elementary schools, a number experts say signals the need for greater protections to keep students in school and prevent further learning losses and disruptions for families." https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2021/12/08/covid-19-outbreaks-in-elementary-schools-hit-record-high-why-we-need-to-pull-out-all-the-stops-to-protect-in-person-learning.html?rf
Not everyone in the schools is healthy. Vulnerable children attend school too, and some of the adults are vulnerable. It's not hard to imagine that's how at least some of the the child deaths occurred. Vaccinating 5 to 11 year olds will reduce the risk to vulnerable children as well as the adult staff in the schools.
The same Figure 7 mentioned above shows that over 11,000 Canadians under 80 have died of covid, and over 5,000 of them were under 70.
I don't think so. You'd better provide some proof.
