There is one thing that is sacred in Canada, and it's our "free" health care. Threaten to take that away, and some normies will wake up to the fact that what the gubmit gives, it can take away. Not a good play by the PM.

Just make it into a user-pay system and nobody can complain. The commies can suck on that.

We really need a private option in healthcare. The arguments against private healthcare are ridiculous.

"No, you can't have top notch healthcare because someone is poor and that's unfair."

Anyone spot that fat french leader block walk into a news conference stiffly, turn like a robot, then give some odd, upside down OK sign for 5 seconds?

Wasnt like a "yeah! OK guys!?" to the reporters, with a smile and a wink and a spring in his step . Some odd Stepford Wives thing.

One wants to assume it maybe was just some broadcasting signal that meant "3 min break" or "3 mins to cameras on" or something. But then why not just say so?

the healthcare they pay into

I guess Quebeckers' payments might only get them the vaccine going forward. If they want hundreds of dollars worth of ICU care instead sounds like they might have to pay extra.

Finally the leftists have come full circle.

I agree, from now anyone who burdens the healthcare system due to a choice they made should face significant financial penalties, and not permitted to enjoy restaurants.

Overweight, smoker, snowboarder, motorcyclist etc etc.

I'm not any of those why have I been paying for their care?

Yeah, and what about car insurance - especially the public liability and public damage part - and house insurance? And why should you have to support a fire hall, for Pete's sake? You're not going to set your house on fire.

There may be hope for you after all, you’re finally starting to get it.

You’re right, I shouldn’t be forced to purchase insurance if I have the means of personally covering my own liabilities.

Yes. Multi-millionaires just need to keep a separate account they can't drain with enough cash to cover anything that might happen.
