Someone will say "I need to have three roommates to afford a two bedroom apartment" and then someone will chime in saying how "that's normal is some parts of the world" as if that's a good thing or something we should be striving towards. Importing the third world and becoming the third world is not a good thing and it isn't an argument.
Instead of, I don't know, stopping the mass immigration, people's "solution" to the problem is "just reduce your standard of living bro, just stop eating meat, stop going to concerts and the movies bro so you can afford just to live with the mass immigration we let in, just get another roommate bro, just give up on ever owning a home with a yard".
