What we know is that we've seen too many people injured by the vaxx at this point. You know all those videos you see, of "whistleblower" nurses and so forth, describing the adverse injuries they've seen? Those are real.
I had that thought too. I think it's different here though, this is a "down-home"-y province where half the people know each other and are probably related to each other not so distantly. People want to get along with each other.
The CAF Reddit is laughably pozzed
Yeah, I would not use that garbage fire as a barometer of anything.
As for all the recent "sexual harassment" stuff, I'll say this: I retired from the CAF as a senior officer. I am tall, handsome, and charismatic. Over the years I had female subordinates give me overtures with some frequency; I never took advantage of it but I can see how it happens. You're talking about a job that is stressful, emphasizes physical fitness and machismo, of course men and women are going to get together.
I've been very surprised, and disappointed, that the CAF refusal rate hasn't been higher. I guess that's what happens when you lie (it's safe, guys, we promise) and threaten (no more LDA/sea pay, DAG red for tours).
Maybe, in fact seems likely. I've seen people predicting a blowout Trudeau majority this fall.
Anything can happen though. What if - what IF - vaccine side effects become undeniable, a halt to the vax campaign is enforced (probably in the USA first), and folks get really mad?
THIS. It's been unfathomable to me how people can look at the numerous shket-term effects we already see, and not anticipate a raft on long-term side effects.
It's as if they really think the tip of the iceberg must be the whole iceberg.
Then the board will die. Like deader than it already is.
