"peaceful assembly"

I'm at the point where I would welcome fascism just so these soft cunts could actually see what it's like.

The UN can get fucked. Saudi Arabia on the human rights council. China can veto whatever they want. The ONLY countries they try to shame are the ones who have actively led international humans rights changes for the betterment of all mankind.

It's about as useful as the league of nations, if not actively more toxic.

I don't know what to make of Lewis either. I know a lot of people around here cheerlead for her. She's unmarried, no kids. Her DOB is strangely no present online. She does have over 20 years of experience as a lawyer. Based off her UN internship in 1995 she was atleast 15 then, max 19. Mid 40's. So she's not going to have children.

I have a hard time believing a true conservative woman wouldn't be married or have kids. I straight up don't trust politicians without kids. Macron, Merkel, etc. These people have no skin in the game for how they leave the world.

She's also not born here, and involved in multiple international NGO's. You'd all be rattled if any NDP or Liberal candidate did a UN leadership training summit. Why's it never brought up that she did?

I don't think she is quite what most people on here think she is, and I would take what she says with a massive grain of salt.

I think she's smart. Smart enough to dupe people. She's a fucking lawyer after all. I would love to be proved wrong, but I don't think she's half as conservative as she espouses.

As much as I agree with some of his rhetoric/ideas (I'll never take a politician at their word), he was extremely shortsighted on that front, which probably shows he would have made some major gaffs as PM.

Considering their stock price went from just below $1800 to over $3200 in the last year, guy would be a monster tard if he didn't sell some of it.

Guy owns multiple companies, some of them privately. Why wouldn't you sell the publicly traded stock to inject capital into your privately held businesses that double as passion projects.

If you think him selling 1.5% of his Amazon shares is 'decoupling'...

Oh yeah, the optimal solution is to keep one group out of sight to make the other group more comfortable.

So while I agree in principle, and truly believe everyone has the potential to be capable, I'd like you to hear me out on this.

Are all dogs created equal? Is a German Shepard the exact same as Husky? Is the Husky the exact same as a Doberman? Doberman the exact same as a Labrador retriever?

Obviously not.

Why on earth would you think it's different for people?

I studied animal sciences in University, and had a prof bring up a point I had never considered, and is completely politically incorrect, but I think accurate. Look at black dominance in certain North American sports and the summer olympics. Descendants of slaves. Descendants of people who were essentially bred like work animals for a few centuries.

There has been obvious positive benefits come out of that when it comes to physical capabilities and athleticism.

No two people are created equal. All people are created capable of something, but they're not equal. If they were there would be more parity around the globe.

I can dislike someone, yet still admit when they're right. Just because I think someone is an insufferable prick, doesn't mean they're always wrong.

I somewhat agree. It's like if a wife goes and spends 100k on a credit card, and the husband has to then implement a budget at home. The kids hate the dad for not giving them as many presents, even though he's trying to save the family.

"That's simply not true"...but it is.

Him lying isn't knocking anything out of the park.

How is asking what hotel someone stayed in AFTER THE FACT compromising anyone's safety?

These people are advanced retards.

She'll hit 33, have no career prospects since she never went to school, and was working part time as a waitress at 28.

She's going to go it for child support payments because she's soon going to be too old and ugly to pay for vacations off of tips, and the botox is only going to go so far.

So, lets both put up 100k and follow this one. I'm pretty sure I've got pretty good odds here.

It means that they may actually want what you want, but they can't be outspoken about it, because they need to court a wider vote.

It's like a politician. There's nothing else out there like them.

If you have the fortitude for it, run for office, it's the only way someone who actually has all the same views as yourself will ever get elected.

Every person needs to read 'The Prince' by Machiavelli. It's mostly timeless. While I abhor lying, I am realistic enough to understand that at times you need to pick the lesser of two evils. Would I lie to get elected so I could actually lower immigration rates? Yes.

I genuinely believe, in certain situations, the ends do justify the means. There is no nobility in war, are we are currently in a cultural, societal, and political war.

When the stakes are high, it's better to cheat and win, than to lose your country, your family's future, and your culture.

I agree with your sentiments. I don't like it. But it is our reality. I will use whatever tool at my disposal to fight for what we have/had. You can only be as noble as your enemy.

Did you really, without a hint or irony, claim other people are acting obsessively?

It's official, you just project. It's okay to be a faggot man, we support you.

Honestly just makes me happy to know the rank and file actually know who the real threats in aviation safety are.

I don't disagree, but it really isn't those types of stress. It's the job related from dealing with customers, and doing it properly. You know how many times I've wanted to tell a customer that they're fucking retarded?

Probably once a week. It's similar to emotional IQ. Another buzzwordy thing to explain 'good at reading people'.

Someone who is good at emotional labour is good at taking a whole lot of shit, compartmentalizing it, and still treating that customer well and getting the job done. Pretty much a descriptor of anyone who's good at managing hard to manage people.

I don't know who expects to get paid for shit outside of an actual job, but yeah, that's just called living life.

Managing clients, especially high maintenance ones, would be emotional labour, and there's people in every corporation on the planet that need to do it, and get compensated for it.

It really isn't people getting compensated for their feelings. It's being being compensated for putting up with fuckwits and making the fuckwits feel good while they do it.

You might want to look up the definition of something before having a strong opinion on it lol.

Emotional labour is the act of 'keeping people happy'. It's essentially being 'on' at your job. That goes for any role where there is customer interaction, and it's why some of those roles are highly paid.

You think sports agents like all of their clients? Fuck no. You know why they get paid that much though? Because they're able to put up with them and manage them. Aka they're capable of doing the emotional labour.

It's not what it's called when you complain, it's what it's called when you have to put up with other people complaining.
