Home Alone 2 is a 120 minute movie. It's normal for TV networks to cut some content from movies to fit the content into a block with commercials.
There's typically 8 minutes of commercials per 30 minute block.
For a 3 hour block, you need 132 minutes of content, 48 minutes of commercials. The movie is only 120 minutes long.
So you need to cut content to fit it down to a 2 1/2 hour block. Since 26.67% of the TV block is commercials, you need 40 minutes of commercials, 110 minutes of content for a 2 1/2 hour block.
So you have to cut 10 minutes from the broadcast or lose out on 10 minutes of ad revenue. So they're going to cut out content that adds nothing or very little to the story. The Trump cameo was non-consequential for the rest of the story. He had only one scene in the film and was never referred to again.
When I PVR'd Taxi Driver on TLN back in March (it's a 114 minute movie), they completely cut out like the first few minutes from the film. I had to torrent the movie again to watch the first few minutes because I completely forgot what happened in the beginning of the movie.
Trudeau itself isn't locking down the youth directly. But he, his health minister Patty Hajdu and the Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Theresa Tam recommended lockdowns to the premiers.
And the federal government bullied the provinces into locking down by withholding CEBA money from businesses and God knows what else behind closed doors (ie. health care funding to the provinces probably).
The businesses themselves in Alberta and Ontario were pleading with Jason Kenney and Doug Ford to lock down because they pointed out that they don't have access to federal CEBA funds if they don't lock down. If your indoor dining is at 25% capacity, you are better off having indoor dining banned and getting CEBA money than operating at 25% capacity with no CEBA money
The federal government deliberately designed CEBA in such a way that you don't get it if you operate at limited capacity. You can only get it if you do curbside pickup if you're retail. Or takeout, delivery, drive-thru if you're a restaurant.
It's hard to take polling seriously due to social desirability bias and the way that they frame questions. I find it really hard to believe that a significantly high percentage of 18-34 year olds approve of Justin Trudeau's job. $2000/month NEETBux doesn't offset social isolation, delay of starting families, chronic unemployment, delay of your academic career, etc.
I'm not a huge social butterfly or anything so I don't know a lot of people in RL to gauge public opinion. But in my personal life, 18-34 year olds typically think this lockdown is bullshit. While the polls and reddit/twitter give us the impression that 18-34 year olds are for it. And the people I know in RL who are for lockdowns are either people who live with their spouse and don't care about the others impacted, my boomer dad who is terrified of WuFlu or old bitter single people like my Gen X spinster sister who is bitter that six figure Chads don't want to commit and my Gen X gay bald friend.
Yeah I loved The Breakfast Club, Clerks, Mallrats. I listened to grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc), synth-pop/new wave (Depeche Mode, The Cure) etc.
My siblings and older cousins were Gen X so I was exposed to this stuff. And with the internet you can find almost anything.
The thing too with Gen X is that people change over time. The same people who related to Reality Bites in 1994, many of them are now CEOs, middle-management Karens, politicians, public health officers, etc.
What absolutely floors me are the polls showing that Trudeau has high approval ratings among 18-34 year olds. What is the point of a $2000/month CERB cheque if the government makes it illegal for you to meet people you don't live with? This is a terrible time to be single.
My sister is Gen X and she is considering working for Eileen de Villa. Eillen de Villa herself is Gen X. Many MOHs, scientists and politicians in favor of lockdowns are Gen X. Doug Ford is borderline Gen X (1964). Justin Trudeau (1971). My gay friend is Gen X and he's for lockdowns and he recently ghosted me
There are a ton of cucks and Karens who are Gen X. In fact a lot of the most vocal pro-masks pro-lockdowners I see on twitter are Gen X.
I'm an older millennial (35). I am not a social conservative or traditionalist at all. I'm just fed up with the government interfering with my civil liberties and the left's woke religion.
I have always felt Christian conservatives were moralfags. But the left are even bigger moralfags now.
I agree that if you have total individualism in society, you're going to have chaos. But there is way too much government intervention in our daily lives than I am comfortable with now. Especially now with the COVID hysteria.
Yeah my prediction is that they will lift lockdown in the spring (and it probably won't be a full re-opening. We'll still have mask mandates, social distancing, capacity limits). And then re-impose it in the fall when coronaviruses and influenzas rise again.
Toronto and Peel's data from the past 4 weeks shows that lockdown doesn't work. Yet they double down on lockdowns and suggest that the problem is that they didn't lock down hard enough and didn't lock down the surrounding regions. lol.
When cases finally go down in the spring when the weather gets warmer, they're going to be like "see it's the lockdowns that did it!" When really coronavirus is just a seasonal virus.
The exception to the rule is when coronavirus entered the American South over the summer. And I think that was only because there wasn't sufficient immunity built up among the population in the spring like there was in the North-East (ie. New York, New Jersey).
Sweden had very lax restrictions up until November/December and cases and deaths went down considerably in Sweden over the summer even though they didn't have mask mandates or a real lockdown. And then cases and deaths went back up to some extent in the fall in Sweden. So I don't think the seasonality of SARS-CoV-2 can be denied. It is a fact that the 4 mild human coronaviruses that cause the common cold are seasonal. The genetic material of SARS-CoV-2 would have to deviate quite significantly from the other members of the coronavirus family for it to mutate into having significant heat resistance.
If you really are 50+, your best defense against this virus is basically to not be obese, regulate your blood sugar, get sunlight and supplement Vitamin D and C to boost your immune system (I hear Zinc is good too). Heart disease is the main driver of bad outcomes with this coronavirus (and other respiratory viruses). Diabetes and heart disease are linked. My granma died of a heart attack at 78 as a result of her diabetes complications. She wasn't fat but the diabeetus still got her. However she was 78. My aunt died of a heart attack at 54 as a result of her diabetes as well. But she was obese. Almost everyone who ends up in ICU from COVID has diabetes or pre-diabetes. Oh and quit smoking or vaping if you do that. Don't inhale asbestos, fumes, smoke, etc.
If you are 65+, the pneumonia vaccine is available for free as well. Developing opportunistic pneumonia infections after being infected with a respiratory virus is one of the more common ways that people die from COVID.
They put that rock there just to make sure a homeless person doesn't sleep there? This is peak liberalism
Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi's interview with Triggernometry was taken down by YouTube. So make sure to download the Rebel News interview. Or follow Rebel News on Bitchute to have access to the video if YouTube takes this one down too
I fucking hate this city and our city council. Go get culturally enriched by Malton BBC you whore of babylon
Xi Jinping is the top
Public health officials are like failed doctors. lmao. If she was good at what she does, she'd be an epidemiologist, virologist, pathologist, microbiologist, etc.
God I hope that faggot Trudeau doesn't call a snap election. Leftists are afraid of COVID but they'd excuse it and risk getting COVID to go to the polls anyways because they love fellating his penis.
$2,000/month NEETBux isn't worth having to be celibate IMO. Muh Dik, Muh Dik. Here in Mississauga they gave out 33 tickets over last weekend for people having social gatherings with people they don't live with. I fucking hate this cuck city filled with Karens.
I'm more shocked by 63% among 18-34 year olds. The government and media kept finger wagging at young people for attending social gatherings. And it is now illegal to have gatherings with people outside your household. Most 18-34 year olds are either single or don't live with their SO. So the government is imposing celibacy on most of us. Technically in Toronto, Peel, York, Windsor-Essex you're allowed to meet one other household if you live alone. But how many 18-34 year olds can afford to live alone in Toronto and Peel? lmao. Most 18-34 year olds have room mates or live with their parents here.
I figured that there was more than 37% of us who are sick of the government taking away all the fun in our lives.
Trudeau’s approval rating is highest among women (58%) of fucking course
Canadians aged 18 to 34 (63%) I apologize on behalf of millennials. I recently turned 35 but I still find this disgraceful after Trudeau and other premiers cucked our generation hard with lockdowns.
Atlantic Canadians (60%)
and Ontarians (59%). I apologize on behalf of Ontarians
Do you think that Trudeau would sack him if he voted against the bill?
Leftists and BLM come to the defense of black criminals (including Jacob Blake who raped a 14 year old girl). But black soldiers who don't wear masks get stomped on and kneed on and the left and BLM TO stays silent.
How can anyone at this point not see that the mask and BLM thing is purely political theatre? Why is it that it's only Rebel News reaching out to this interracial couple? rofl. I thought we were the nazis?
This guy is actually a role model for black youth and he gets demonized by the left for not wearing a mask. While Jacob Blake, Rayshard Brooks, Ahmaud Arbery, Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd are thugs. Not role models at all. Leftists will never learn unless they get victimized by thugs themselves. Most leftists active on twitter, reddit, etc. probably don't live near the bad parts of the GTA and GVA and aren't exposed to the thuggery.

Yeah if they swab her corpse and see some trace coronavirus on her, it's a covid death technically in the government statistics. They specify in the glossary that a covid fatality = died with COVID, not from.
We already have a big recession.
I don't see how printing a bunch of money while reducing the number of goods and services available for purchase due to lockdowns is going to help the economy. I have seen grocery prices go up at the supermarkets. McDonald's value menu is more expensive. These big corporations see all the CERB, CEBA money that people are getting and think to themselves, "I'm going to raise prices and get myself a piece of that."
I have noticed utility prices go up too. Water, electricity, telecom, probably heating too.
For some reason his quarantine will only be for 7 days though. Here in Canada quarantine is 14 days. I guess it's 7 in France. Tbh 14 days is over-kill. From what I have seen online, coronavirus stops being infectious 10 days max after symptom on-set.
I have seen businesses actually pressure Jason Kenney, Doug Ford, etc. to lock down because they claim they weren't eligible for CEBA from the federal government operating at reduced capacity (25% or whatever it was).
